jdb264c
Please try the following:1) Go to "Winamp" Preferences (Ctrl+P) 2) Then go to "General Preferences" 3) Uncheck "Disable always on top while full screen applications are focused" 4) Press "Close" button 5) Close "Winamp" 6) Start "Winamp" again (if you want you can check that option again now) 7) Start WCC It worked for an user but I still don't know why in some system it happens... 586030616 Sorry, it didnt work. Have tried all variants of showing the notifier and it always blinks. Guess it's more or less a one-user-problem so I'll live with it off... Just shout if you find a solution though! Carlos11
jdb264c, 1) Start WCC. 2) uncheck and check "Disable always on top while full screen applications are focused" then press "Close" button. In addition, I can make a special version of WCC so we can TRY to find what's wrong. Meshuggah
No matter what I do (Winamp stopped, paused, without song in playlist...) I'm not able to reproduce the issue...By the way, the entire case or just the cover area flickers? As soon as possible I will add an option to disable fade effect... 586030689 well no really flickers...it goes from transparent to non transparent. it does this repeatidly until i play a song. just open up the program and then stop whatever song ur playing and watch the cover art i really dont want to disable the fade effect, i like it, but i would like it disabled when a song isnt playing Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/312388-winamp-cd-case-beta-8/page/7/#findComment-586031790 Share on other sites

Carlos11
Meshuggah There is a new beta 8 available (main focus: notifier flickering, which seems to be fixed). Maybe you could try it: http://www.closetosoftware.com/wccb8.zip NOTE: as always don't uninstall beta 7, just unzip and copy the new "CD Case.exe" into WCC's folder. Seriously: WCC 1.0 is almost finished. I just have to fix some bugs. Dark Ride
I'd suggest to use "TagScanner 4.9" in combination with CD Case. You should let TagScanner scan your music folder and update the ID3 Tag from "freedb".Some of your mp3 files may not have id3 tags or wrong id tags.TagScanner will help you update the tags with ease. Slochy
Recently I keep on getting the following error when clicking on options or skin manager which detains me from using Winamp CD Case completely :ninja: Do you have any clue what this could be about? I have changed the alternative cover procedure to accept wildcards too. I will test this feature. 2) Regarding fading: maybe we could try a special version so we could try to track this error on your system. I'm testing in 2 PC and it's fine. Carlos11
Uninstall WCC then try to install WCC beta 6 from Softpedia: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Authoring-too...p-CD-Case.shtml For some reason the required file is not copied or registered during install. You should have the "vbalTab6.ocx" file in your Windos\system32\ If you have it try to manually register it. Go to Run then type: regsvr32 vbalTab6.ocx Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/312388-winamp-cd-case-beta-8/page/7/#findComment-586045380 Share on other sites

I also registered it manually the way you just told me and got a confirmation message. Then I tried WCC beta 6 and get the following message Could it be possible that my vbalTab6.ocx is damaged or sth. like that? Thanks a lot for your efforts here, I really appreciate it. Carlos11
Something unusual is happening: 1) Unregister vbalTab6.ocx (regsvr32 /u vbalTab6.ocx) 2) manually delete vbalTab6.ocx 3) Uninstall WCC 4) Restart your PC (I think is necessary) 5) Download WCC again (just to make sure) 6) Install WCC It should work! Meshuggah
yea, just wanted to also say i just noticed that it seems to be flashing for everything, i decided to let this program search for covers automatically... if you prompt BEFORE it downloads, even if u tell it not to look for the cover, it will keep asking and asking, i had to turn off the prompt...so now it searches automatically and if doesnt find it the Searching globe will flash and flash and flash, so i had to disable the image do you think it could possibly be my customized theme? i dont know why i didnt think of that until now, but i guess im going to try and switch themes :::::nope doesnt work, still will continue to flash Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/312388-winamp-cd-case-beta-8/page/7/#findComment-586046003 Share on other sites
