Sigh, told you so. Now for some good news.

Okay, ya know, I thought I knew what was coming down the pipe, and then my eyeballs are burned out of their sockets by "that preview" of Metroid Prime 3. Yeah, okay, Samus looks like she did in MP2E, but her new ship is da bomb.

I can't wait for this game. I was lucky enough to catch a Retro Studios employee at breakfast this morning and asked him a few questions, notably, "I take it the ship firing its ordnance in the preview is a sign of things to come?" He just smiled at me and said, "Metroid Prime 3 is going to surprise you to such a degree that you'll be exhausted by the time you're finished with it."

Gack! My mind ran wild with speculation. "What does that mean?" I asked myself. "WHAT... DOES... THAT... MEAN?!" I guess I'll have to wait until next year when the Revolution debuts.

Meh, if you read back, I said I was cautiously optimistic meaning I had reservations about this whole 19th of may nonsense. But ya, I was optimistic about it none the less. No worries :)

Reggie said they won't show the controller until the other two lock in the specs.

Well to keep cost down, plus for this generation of console's you had to buy something to play DVD's so I see no issue there. Exact same thing.

The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user.
