And for converting movies I use Nero Recode. There's a tutorial out on the net somewhere, lemme have a look.

Dazzla, did you happen to find anything? I tried Recode but wasn't even given the choice of coding to mpeg4 but I might be lacking a codec (haven't d/l any codec packs since last format because I use VLC)

Well I just got my K750i yesturday, and I gotta say Im impressed.

Everyone that suggested it to me was right, its the best phone ive used yet (7610, 6260, mpx200, mpx220, V3).

But to the people that have Cingular in the states (Im located in South Florida), reception is pretty disappointing, actually, its down right terrible. I understood when I bought the phone that I would be taking a risk since I was relying on Cingular's 1900 band, but sadly, Cingular uses both 850 and 1900 in my area, so in spots (like my house for instance), I get NO reception.

It sucks, because with the V3 I got 3 bars in my house (it is a terrible reception area), so its just my luck that my house must be in an 850 heavy spot.

So my dilemma is do I deal with the ****** reception and keep this otherwise amazing phone, or do I sell it off and buy a black V3, and hope a K750a comes out soon (which it wont, and something better will be out by then).

I just thought I share my experience with other Cingular users, and let them know that although this phone will work, dont be expecting great RF (but then again its best to just try the phone in your area, and find out for yourself).

Just got my phone yesterday. I love this thing. I use T-mobile in the cincinnati area so I had had no problems at all with the service. The first thing that really amazed me about this phone is how small it is. Ive used motorala phones my whole life and I gotta say, I really love the software this SE has.

I got a K750i on O2 contract the other day. Phone was free, contract is 18 months on ?30, 300 any-time, any-network minutes and 150 texts inclusive. It's my first contract phone and I'm very pleased with it:DD It feels very well-constructed, the UI took next to no time to get used to and the only complaint I have is the battery cover is VERY secure. It took a very forceful pushing to remove it the first time.

I don't really need functions like cameraphone, Bluetooth and whatever. The only thing I asked the sales assistant for in a phone was one with enough memory to store MP3s and easy PC connectivity. She recommended this handset. MP3 ringtone support is brilliant and the radio is good too, even with the standard-issue handsfree set. The theming software is great too, within 24 hours and I'd themed the UI with my own creation. I think I made a winning choice to get this handset ;P

Just picked mine up today :)

Took so long to get to Australia. I was going to buy it from Hong Kong (eBay) but I wanted local warranty and pick it up myself.

Anyway today I got a call from the store I have been pestering for the last week. He said they had ONE that had just arrived (more are expected Friday). I told him to keep it for me and I will be there right away... I had to catch a bus for 40 minutes and when I got there the guy couldn't find it!

Haha eventually he found it and its sitting on my desk now. I was amazed at how small it actually is! All the photos on the net make it look a lot bigger :p

Anyway i am too scared to even turn it on until I read the manual LOL.

Also need to buy a case for it so I don't scratch it or damage it by dropping it. Anyone got any suggestions?

Edit: What is this warn crap next to my name? When will it go away?

The diference between the k750 and the w800 is the Memory Stick Duo Pro 512 MB card included with the W800, because the k750 has only a 64 mb card included , and the w800 has the ability to listen to mp3 when the phone is off to save battery , everything else is the same

    • After enabling it in about:config, customize, density, compact; the toolbar/address bar gets smaller vertically. I enabled Nova, I notice the tab bar/title bar is a bit larger vertically now? Everything always becomes a waste of space.
    • Microsoft's Copilot Cowork now generally available with usage-based billing by Pradeep Viswanathan Back in March, Microsoft first revealed Copilot Cowork, a new agentic AI experience in Microsoft 365 Copilot through which users can assign tasks to AI to complete in the background. After testing the service with a limited set of customers in Research Preview for a few weeks, Microsoft announced the general availability of Copilot Cowork to customers in the Frontier program on March 30. Today, Microsoft announced the general availability of Copilot Cowork worldwide for Microsoft 365 Copilot customers. The company also highlighted that Cowork became the fastest-growing feature in the history of its Frontier program. Unlike regular Copilot Chat, Copilot Cowork can run complex, long-running, multi-tool tasks from start to finish in the cloud by using organizational context through Work IQ. When compared to Claude Cowork, Microsoft claims that Copilot Cowork will be 30% to 40% cheaper on average with its Microsoft 365 connector. For now, Copilot Cowork runs on Anthropic models, including Opus 4.8 and Sonnet 4.6. However, Frontier customers can now use GPT-5.5. Microsoft also announced Cowork 1, a secure fine-tuned model coming in the next few weeks, which is designed to handle everyday Copilot tasks at a lower cost. To access Copilot Cowork, a Microsoft 365 Copilot user subscription is required. Usage is billed separately through Copilot Credits, based on model use, context retrieval, tool calls, and runtime. Pay-as-you-go pricing is set at $0.01 per Copilot Credit. To offer IT teams full control over usage costs, Microsoft provides spending limits, usage alerts, user-level controls, reporting, and prepaid usage plans for organizations. Usage-based billing begins today. However, Frontier customers who used Cowork between March 30 and June 16 will not be billed until July 1, 2026. The Microsoft 365 Copilot app now includes a toggle to enter the full Cowork experience. Microsoft is also adding partner plugins, with Enosix, Harvey, LSEG, Miro, monday.com, Moody’s, Morningstar, S&P Global Energy, and TeamsMaestro available now. Adobe, Atlassian, Box, Canva, Databricks, and others are coming soon.
