If you actually read your phone manual (Atleast on my Samsung D500 Manual) it says you are MUST have concent of the person you are taking a picture of/video'ing.

But hey... thats to cover their backs I guess.

Reminds of that one where a Mobile was used to take a pic up a young girls skirt but the camera sound from the phone was heard by his mate and he told teachers etc

as disgusting an act as that is, but i heard recently that the police near me are holding an 8 yr old boy for raping a 13 yr old girl...

didn't believe it at first , but it is true, and i think that the police don't really know how to properly proceed with the case, as nothing like this has happened before..

what can be really be done with this boy... lock him up for a few years hoping he gets better.., smack him around till he sees sense, none are the right thing to do...shiity for the girl though..

I personally blame it on TV, especially rappers and hip-hop artists.

It's seen as cool to be a thug, because in their music videos they have all the nice looking babes, cars and guns.

Thats my opinion, and when young kids see this they aspire to be like them and act and talk like them too .

I couldn't put it better myself, it goes to show that some people think that TV is right and copying other people doing stuff (like "rapping" about killing people and showing off attitude) is a good thing, and I thought that the rappers were suppose to be responsible adults, not giving kids bad habits

Im starting to think that there should be an age limit on video phones. Even though im a teenager and i like my video phone, i wouldn't mind not being able to use the video recording if it'll help stop these happy slappings....well rapes and soon to be murders.

But that will never happen because of all the money networks & phone makers may loose.

what does owning a cell phone have to do with commiting crimes?

Chavs anyone?

what are chavs? im an american

my parents let me watch what ever wanted on tv, let me watch R rates moves, and i was a good kid, and am now a responcible adult. i feel too many parents blame tv isntead of there parenting. if you TEACH your kids that TV is not real, and do a good job as a parent then it dosent matter what they watch, or what video games they play. people need to stop pasing the buck and cop up to the inabilities.

ITS NOT REAL! its acting, its a show, they are performers, that is how they make there money. if you dont like it thats fine, but dont tell your kids not to watch it because you dont like it, let your kids watch what they want, just be there to explain it to them and put it into referance.

you only have your selvs to blame. this world dident just happen, we made it what it is. why is it allways someone else fault?

nose nuggets: chavs are an antisocial community of people, hated by most. banned from quite a few public places.

i doubt chavs were the cause here though.

as for tv, i also watched most things (NOT anything with sex) while i was young, violence on tv was common anyway, and i am not a bad person either, its that these silly people from a young age arent told that its just a tv show.

--

as for mobile phones not being needed by youths, thats just wrong guys, i use my phone alot, its nice to be able to call friends alot etc, also the camera is used now and then. its not the phone, its the bad upbringing of the user.

Everyone thinks that America is going to hell. While it's true that it is we aren't the only ones with problems, and this only further proves that point. IMHO all the countries need to gather together to find some sort of solution to this massive problem with this world going to hell. I mean just the other day I saw in the "Sun" that the world was going to end on September 24th in the grocery store line. I mean seriously everyone in the world needs to grow up, and do a whole lot of growing up in a short period of time.

Happy Slapping is hitting a random person while filming it.

For exmaple wait till someone is on the bus sneak up behind them it them as hard as you can.

They all think it makes them look "hard", if its so hard why do they always pick people who look like they wont fight back?

Search and you will find many cases of it.

1. Man going home from a wedding party. Gets on bus. Croup of about six chavs decide to happy slap him when he falls asleep. They film it and then decide to film themselves carry on to fracture his eye socket, jaw, nose and knock him out.

2. They knock out an 12yo girl.

3. Knock out a women with cancer.

4. A drunk man falls asleep at the bus stop. They sneak up on him, film themselves putting paper all around his feet and then setting it on fire. The man didnt realise until he was on fire and now has burns all the way upto his neck.

I am part of the same generation but have never thought of doing anything like this. How the hell is setting someone on fire funny?

And video games and tv are fine.

I always play games where you can shoot/stab people. Even Manhunt which the media hated.

They didnt make me want to go out and do it.

Its obvious that its wrong, they know that but do it anyway. They need to be executed or something.

This doesn't surprise me... the UK is going down hill. I don't understand how they are even allowed out on bail - it just shows how the law doesn't take seriously people that behave in such a manner.

They will probably get away with a minimal punishment, if any - the law seems to have a perculiar way of believing that people under the age of 18 don't know what they're doing and gives them the benefit of the doubt (what doubt?).

If they are too young to be punished properly then punish the parents too. They need to learn to bring children up properly.

We need to "license" having children.

You can only have them when someone looks at your family, job, income, house, etc.

I wouldnt mind going through that if it stops these idiots from having children who they just teach to be scum like them.

chavs are an antisocial community of people, hated by most. banned from quite a few public places.

gang members? can i get an american equivalent? do chavs admit they are chaves? is it a term that is used for an by?

if i have a kid, as soon as he starts going out with his friends, hes getting a cell phone. i want to be able to get in contact with my kid when ever i need to, and i want him to do the same.

yaeh i agree mengha, we both seem to have grown up the same way, playing these games and watching these films, but we have morals and know whats right and wrong, wheras they dont.

and whos to blame? society? tv? movies? music?

PARENTS! the ONLY people who have a direct influence on there children when it counts.

I totally agree with that, there shoudl be the same rules there is for adopting children.

It isn't always the parents though. If you have rebelistic children they're going to do what they want no matter what (I see it everyday). A parrents influence can only go so far and then it becomes the childs responsiblity and when the children just plain don't care and have friends that just plain don't care they're going to do whatever they damn well please. Even though the parrent might have brought them up right it still comes down to what the child wants to do even though they know it's wrong at that age.

this is the fault of the parents, and the internet porn,

586084737

rofl!!!!

ive been flogging the bishop since i was 11. i dont think seeing a dude a chic get it on is negativly influincing me.

having sex, or watching a porn, is a lot difernt the watching a rape.

10 years ago at that age they did'nt know the meaning of the word sex.

you would rather let your kid see a flic with 2 people killing each other then a flic with 2 people having sex?

we need tougher laws and the parents should go to jail as well, for not bringin up their kids right, maybe the kids should be taught a lession, a HARD lession   fu*in stupid  this country needs decent laws and more punishments, you do the crime you get PUNISHED severaly, just my opinion.

586084579

I'd agree with you but, no offence to anyone here, but the majority of chavs are people who's parents have split up and they've been left with their mother. This seems to bring about lack of authority in the household and the children can do whatever they want as women are generally not strong enough to fight back.

If it were a perfect world, those children would be in jail for the rest of their lives, but it isn't so......we have to live with it.

Disgusting. Even a two year old knows the difference between right and wrong.

And I agree that kids of their age  and maturity shouldn't have cellphones.

I highly doubt that they'll be imprisoned for the time they deserve - justice never seems, especially when children are the culprits.

586084632

Can we just restrict it to maturity? I'm 15, only 1 year older than they are and I have a phone (admittedly it can't take videos and the photo quality leaves something to be desired) I happen to use my phone alot for perfectly legal, sensible reasons, I use it every single day.

But yes this is sickening. That's why sometimes I think we SHOULD live in a big brother state, saying that I'd have been caught long ago because I can't afford software, and my dad's currently fighting a court battle against the police over a speeding ticket.

But a nanny state would sort out a lot of problems and I think it would make people alot more carefuly.

Slighty OT: If teh persona outside doesn't stop beeping the horn he's been beeping since about 10AM this morning I'm going to be in juvenile prison for fecking MURDER!!!!!! ARGH!!!!

    • TeraCopy 4.0 Build 28 by Razvan Serea TeraCopy is a compact program designed to copy and move files at the maximum possible speed, also providing you with a lot of features. Copy files faster. TeraCopy uses dynamically adjusted buffers to reduce seek times. Asynchronous copy speeds up file transfer between two physical hard drives. Pause and resume transfers. Pause copy process at any time to free up system resources and continue with a single click. Error recovery. In case of copy error, TeraCopy will try several times and in the worse case just skips the file, not terminating the entire transfer. Interactive file list. TeraCopy shows failed file transfers and lets you fix the problem and recopy only problem files. Shell integration. TeraCopy can completely replace Explorer copy and move functions, allowing you work with files as usual. TeraCopy is free for non-commercial use only. For commercial use you need to buy a license. The paid version of the program includes the following features: Copy/move to your favorite folders. Save reports as HTML and CSV files. Select files with the same extension/folder. Remove the selected files from the copy queue. Features added since version 3.17: Enhanced speed graph. New multi-threaded copy engine. Support for copying to multiple targets. Queue system for managing multiple copy operations. Support for receiving files via the LocalSend protocol. TeraCopy entry in the modern Windows Explorer context menu. Integrated toolbar in the title bar. Why receive LocalSend transfers with TeraCopy? Handle file conflicts: Skip, overwrite, or rename files when a file with the same name already exists. LocalSend always creates another copy, which can waste time and disk space, especially when resuming an interrupted transfer. Filter unwanted files: Apply ignore lists or remove files manually before accepting a transfer, so unnecessary files are not downloaded. Better performance on fast networks: In tests over a 10 Gbps connection, TeraCopy received files several times faster than the standard LocalSend app on Windows. TeraCopy 4.0 Build 28 changelog: Fixed a bug where Overwrite behaved as Overwrite All during same-drive move operations. AdvancedInstaller fixed the installer’s security vulnerability: EXE Bootstrapper resolved the %appdata% location incorrectly for the System account. • New AMD graphics driver fixes install issues and FSR 4.1 crashes on RX 7000 GPUs by Taras Buria AMD is rolling out yet another graphics driver. Version 26.6.4 is now available for download, bringing two important fixes. One is for those still using Windows 10 and having trouble installing driver 26.6.2. In fact, this patch is coming from the recently released hotfix, so it is not new if you are already running version 26.6.3. The second fix is for RX 7000 owners. AMD recently brought FSR 4.1 support to the previous-gen graphics cards, but there was a bug with certain games crashing when using FSR 4.1. I experienced this issue with Forza Horizon 6, so today's driver should take care of that. Here is the official changelog: Intermittent install issue seen when installing AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.6.2 on Windows® 10 systems for Radeon™ RX 7000 series and above graphics products. Intermittent application crash may be observed in some games with AMD FSR Upscaling 4.1 enabled on Radeon™ RX 7000 series graphics products. Known issues include the following: Intermittent application crash or driver timeout may be observed while playing Battlefield™ 6 on AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. AMD is actively working on a resolution with the developer to be released as soon as possible. Texture flickering or corruption may appear while playing Battlefield™ 6 with AMD Record and Stream on some AMD graphics products. AMD FSR Upscaling and AMD FSR Frame Generation may show as inactive in AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition while playing Battlefield™ 6 when enabled on Radeon™ RX 9000 series graphics products. Failure to install may be observed while installing AI Bundle components in some regions with limited access to HuggingFace and GitHub. Model flickering or rendering failure may be observed in Maxon Cinema 4D and Blender on Radeon™ RX 7000 series and above graphics products. Users experiencing this issue are recommended to install AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.3.1. Intermittent application crash may be observed on some models while running Blender on Radeon™ RX 7000 series and above graphics products. Users experiencing this issue are recommended to install AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 26.3.1. You can download the AMD Radeon driver 26.6.4 from the official website here. Full release notes are available on the same page.
    • Amazon may use OpenAI and Nova models after Anthropic reportedly raises costs by Karthik Mudaliar Amazon is reportedly considering to use OpenAI models and even its own Nova family of AI models after Anthropic raised the cost of using Claude inside Amazon services. According to a report from The Information, Amazon is weighing its options to reduce costs under a new arrangement with Anthropic. But back in April, Amazon said it would invest $5 billion more in Anthropic, with the possibility of adding up to another $20 billion if certain commercial milestones are met. That investment actually came on top of another $8 billion Amazon had already put into the Claude maker. Anthropic, meanwhile, committed to spend more than $100 billion over 10 years on AWS technologies, including Amazon’s Trainium chips. Amazon isn't just a customer of Anthropic but also one of the most important backers and cloud partners. This is why it makes it interesting that Amazon is considering other alternatives to handle its internal workloads. Although Amazon has been building its own options for a while now. Its Nova family of AI models was announced in late 2024 for Amazon Bedrock, with models aimed at text, image, and video tasks. Amazon pitched the model around cost and latency at that time. With that said, OpenAI has also become a more realistic option recently for AWS customers as well as for Amazon itself. Earlier this year, OpenAI brought its latest models and Codex coding agent to Amazon Bedrock, after changes to its previously more restrictive Microsoft cloud arrangement. This allowed AWS to serve even those customers who wanted other alternatives from Claude, without having to move workloads out of Amazon's cloud. Evaluating alternatives could also be due to commercial pressure and not necessarily a sign of a damaged partnership between Amazon and Anthropic. Whether or not Amazon is actually considering switching entirely to OpenAI's models or its own Nova models remains unknown at this moment.
    • Samsung introduces new AI classroom tools and interactive displays at ISTELive 2026 by Fiza Ali Samsung has announced several new education-focused software features and interactive displays for schools during ISTELive 2026, taking place in Orlando, Florida, from 28 June to 1 July. The focus of these updates is on making shared classroom displays easier to use for teachers while giving IT administrators more control over managing devices. One of the key additions is the Samsung Account Management Solution (AMS). In many schools, multiple teachers share the same interactive display throughout the day, which means signing in and setting everything up can become repetitive. With AMS, teachers can log in by scanning a QR code or tapping an NFC-enabled ID card. Once signed in, their personalised workspace, including wallpapers, bookmarks, app shortcuts, and files, can be instantly accessed through Home Personalisation. Samsung has also included a screen lock feature, allowing teachers to lock the display if they need to step away briefly. Furthermore, the company is also updating its Education Portal with new tools designed for school IT administrators. The portal will allow IT administrators to register teachers, enrol devices, and manage user access from a central dashboard. Administrators can also link NFC cards to teacher accounts, making sign-ins quicker across shared displays. Another addition is a Tags feature that lets schools organise displays by building or classroom. Those tags can also be used to send emergency notifications to selected Samsung Interactive Displays through compatible platforms such as InformaCast and Raptor. Moreover, the tech giant's AI Assistant is gaining several new features aimed at supporting everyday classroom tasks such as lesson planning and classroom engagement. One of the features is Circle to Search, which lets teachers circle text or images on the display to quickly find related information, videos, or web results without interrupting the lesson. The content can then be brought into Samsung Whiteboard. Another feature, Live Transcript, converts spoken lessons into real-time captions, which could be useful for students with hearing impairments or those in multilingual classrooms. The AI Assistant also introduces AI Summary and AI Quiz. The summary tool creates summaries of recorded lessons, while AI Quiz generates questions based on lesson content so teachers can quickly check how well students are following along. Teachers signed in through Samsung AMS can also return to their previous AI-generated lesson materials without logging in again. Alongside the software updates, Samsung has expanded its Android-based Interactive Display range with three new models: the WAF-S, WAFX-PS, and WAHX-M. The WAF-S and WAFX-PS ship with Android 16, bringing updates to security, accessibility, and overall usability while maintaining compatibility with Google's education services including Google Classroom and Google Drive through EDLA certification. Meanwhile, the new WAHX-M is the biggest addition to the lineup, introducing a 98-inch display for larger spaces such as lecture halls and conference rooms. It will also be available in 65-inch, 75-inch and 86-inch sizes. Samsung says the WAHX-M further includes on-device AI features such as voice commands, text-to-speech, and an AI calculator, alongside support for Samsung AMS and AI Assistant. Samsung AI Assistant has been available since April, while Samsung AMS and the updated Education Portal will begin rolling out in July.
