What version of Firefox are you running?! I works fine on this end through both the autoupdate feature and the file above.

Have you tried uninstalling the extension and downloading it again. Install it through File>Open File...

i cant uninstall the extension becuase it doesnt install in the first place!lol

I have now downloaded it to my desktop and installed it thought open > open file and i still get the same error message.

I am now running 1.0.5. i posted those version details so you could see what version i was running.

I dont mean to cuase all this hassle!sorry!

I believe it installs to a completely different folder, so you can install and uninstall it without messing the one you have now.

Anyway, nice toolbar, what about a little button for PMs? It would have the number of PMs on it, and maybe the little alert thing that comes from the bottom right corner? Or if you don't know how to do the alert, you could make the button's background red, or flas a bit.

sorry meant i wasn't angry it just annoyed me.

I downloaded deerpark aplha2 and the extension installed fine on both the download and the update so I have no idea what is causing the problem. Do you have anything that might block it. Or disable some other extensions and try it again. Its a mystery what's causing it

I have disbale all other extensions and it still didnt work. this is really weird and very fustrating:@

i have done some programming before and i know how fustrating it can be when you got "bugs" that you cant fix!

Ok a few pointers. Cause i can get it to work and im on Xp SP2 and Alpha 2 too.

Make sure you are using Alpha 2.

Make sure you actually downloading Version 033 cause ive had problems with previous versions

Give us a list of other extensions you have installed

i switched back to 1.0.5 and uninstalled alpha 2.

The extensions i have are:

chromedit

Adblock

Titlebar tweaks

downTHEMall

FireFTP

I will install alpha 2 again in a minute and try again on there

im back on alpha 2 and still not working

when you installed alpha 2 and then launched it...did it open 3 tabs and had page cannot be displayed error and the correct url could not be found. because i have got this error. i dunno whats causing that either
