im back on alpha 2 and still not working

when you installed alpha 2 and then launched it...did it open 3 tabs and had page cannot be displayed error and the correct url could not be found. because i have got this error. i dunno whats causing that either

Lol i did not lauch three tabs. Try uninstalling all your extensions..it must be something to do with them. Dont disable them..uninstall.

Very nice toolbar. Are you taking suggestions? Like an options page allowing you to change the speed of which the news stories are generated/recycled? Or to optionally stop the processing of the stories on mouseover?

Just curious. I'm not even much for toolbars, but this one is pretty darn nice for Neowin! :happy:

Yes let it go...I have no use for it and im sure others wont...

Can PM alerts and autologins be made into the toolbar? Is it possible?

i have no idea why!

all extensions now uninstalled

something weird just happened!no error came up...but it didnt install either!lol

Have you thought about deleting your DeerPark profile and trying again?

ok, i uninstalled alpha 2 (again!) and this time i did a typical installation (before i was doing custom) to see if it would make a difference. The website reporter and talkback extensions dont work with the current version:S when website reporter did with a custom installation. and when i try to update them both the update server cannot be found. i also tried to update deer park to the latest nightly build and the update server couldnt be found then either.

Yes try deleting your Profile...but backup first...say your favourites...ur preferences etc and extensions can all be easily downloaded again...but not ur favourites.

It might sound silly but try just restarting your system.

Thats normal dw... try the toolbar again. Im sure y doing the typical installtion would make a difference.

Could you make it so that when I middle click on an article title from the RSS feed, it opens in a new tab?

Also, using the update button doesn't find any updates for me, still using .3.1

One more thing, is it possible to have it save what RSS feed I had it set on when I last used Firefox?

visit http://extensions.limit-studios.com/update.rdf and make sure it show 033 at the bottom (if it doesn't click refresh a couple of times) then click the update system.

That was a bug that shouldn't have got in there. Its now fixed and will be in 0.3.4 once i have found out if msntrev install worked

im back!lol

well i deleted everything i could find to do with firefox (and i even deleted my favourites accidently but im not bothered about them really...i had to many!lol

this time starting up alpha 2 i had 9 tabs opoen all tryingt o access different locations in c:\program files\deer park alpha 2\

its bloody weird and guessing its something wrong with my system or something.

i havent tried installing the toolbar yet...i'll do that in a sec!
