If you have not noticed, Yahoo Mail, will not work because it detects it as a incompatible browser, so does launch (witch my gf cant live with out) and there will be other sites with the same problem.. so to fix it in the group policy editor goto user settings, software, internet exploer, connections, user strings and in there you can type in (what it says for ie6) and whala it works.. i have a screen cap on page 15 in Internet Explorer 7 Beta 1....

I am extremely impressed with IE 7 beta 1. They seem to have put a lot of work into making sure they give us the fastest, most user friendly and most useful browser available. Streets ahead of firefox! Good job Microsoft!

i really dont get all the people saying its amazing. this beta has gotta be one of the worst things ive seen, it could have done so much more but hasnt its still lagging WAY behind in terms of web standards... they are there for a reason.

the user interface is just plain ass, they attempted to copy parts of firefox ui, but aint done a good job of it. for example the yellow address bar on secure sites... come on be original firefox has been doing that for almost a year. ive seen better ui's that a 5 year old has made in vb, all the bars should be moveable not have the file menu as the third one down. btw the image that someone showed back a few pages isnt ie, its firefox skinned to look like ie.

so what bugs have they fixed guillotine and peekaboo, the 3mm bug still exists. dont quite see how its taken them so long to fix them.

what improvments to the rendering engine, well theres those 2 bug fixes... and png alpha support. thats it. no updates to css so for any designers that means no child selector support (>), no hover (:hover), no after or befor (:after, :before), just a couple that i thought ie would have to include just to bring them back up to being a viable browser, but nope nothing. it still cant even handle xhtml.

i understand its a beta but ffs ie6 with the msn toolbar is far far better looking and works far far better.

IE SP2 had this way before firefox if i remember correctly

    • I would recommend the Nothing 2a. The battery life is awesome, 2 or 3 days without going into battery power mode. The only thing that I've been looking into recently is that it doesn't "support" Graphene OS. I'm pretty sure there is a way, I just need to do some more looking.
    • You'd have to show me an example of a listing that says Gen 1, usually i'd expect that to mean Snapdragon Gen 1 (a type of chipset, which the Pixels don't use). Pixel 7 - White - 128gb - Unlocked - 85%+ battery - Grade B+ - $159 with free delivery - https://www.ebay.com/itm/398046617206 Pixel 7 - Obsidian - 128gb - Unlocked - 80%+ battery - Very Good - $157 with free delivery - https://www.ebay.com/itm/355617734563 Both look to be sold by companies with good feedback, dealing with refurbished phones and state the phones are unlocked with a clean IMEI. Obviously I can't vouch for either company though, but the listings look good in my opinion.
    • Because Chrome is doing it. And no one said anyone had to update immediately. That's silly. They could update every day for all I care as long as it's fast, and the next time the browser restarts, you're good. And the basic point is not to tee it up for bigger updates. As it is right now, all the windows I had open reopen anyway except inprivate.
    • Why? Does anybody actually want this? The constant need to close all browser sessions and wait for a new version to install, just so that there’s a integrated coupon manager feels like a waste of everyone’s time
    • I remember when Louis used to just do interesting Mac/iPhone repairs, now he's boring and just launches "crusades" every week
