Man, why is there a big gap for every links? That's what I don't like...

See the BIG space between NASA and movies?

yea mine did that so i just cut out all the links and stuff.

you've managed to really make it look bloated though...congrats :D

Another Problem!!!

When you click the close button (top right), All the windows will close WITHOUT Warning, this is seriously gonna be a problem for people click it on accident, forgetting another they are looking/posting something IMPORTANT, A LOT of time spent over it.

Microsoft need to make sure when people click on that close button, confirm with users that users would like to close down all tabs.

Can you say BETA?

Anyone requesting links to download or sharing links for download will have their posts removed and their warning levels raised. This is not a public beta, so only authorized testers may legally download this.

I heard that IE7 beta is out

Also, Did Microsoft SAY if Non-beta testers finds this, that it's considered Illegal Download?

I wouldn't imagine that it's illegal, perhaps unsafe for Novice users.

I don't even understand how it can be considered Illegal, considering IE is ALWAYS been FREE.

It's like Star Wars Trailer Delimma, Lucasfilm wants to ban everyone who isn't a Hyperspace member to get a hold of their trailer! It's BS!!!

While I think it's great many of you are throwing around bugs you have encountered in this thread, I hope you guys are actually reporting 'em to Microsoft ;)

Not, if we're not official Beta Testers for IE7.

So, does anyone have any information on IE 7 and web standards?

Yes it seems the peekaboo bug is fixed seen at position is everything

http://www.positioniseverything.net/explorer/peekaboo.html

Other than that its as bad as always. It seems like they spent most of there time on the horrid interface, RSS Feed, anti phishing and tabs

well technically, it's not being given to all users, since now they have implemented WGA.

I don't think bill gates really cares if vista is leaked. It creates more hype about their product than any news show/website could ever do

Well I think everybody got passed the WGA. So - so much for that. :ninja:

Oh I think Vista is a Completely different story, it cost something as a Final product.

IE, however, is totally Free so a Beta should be Legal, IMHO!!!

Same as any other Free MS products - MSN, etc.

in the about it says DISTRIBUTING and REPRODUCING it are illegal.

That means something totally differnt, it's copyright.

That means no other company can distribute IE and seek credit/money for it.

But if a Microsoft fan download it and then shares it without temping, why NOT ok?

    • Vivaldi 8.0.4033.46 by Razvan Serea Vivaldi is a cross-platform web browser built for – and with – the web. A browser based on the Blink engine (same in Chrome and Chromium) that is fast, but also a browser that is rich in functionality, highly flexible and puts the user first. A browser that is made for you. Vivaldi is produced with love by a founding team of browser pioneers, including former CEO Jon Stephenson von Tetzchner, who co-founded and led Opera Software. Vivaldi’s interface is very customizable. Vivaldi combines simplicity and fashion to create a basic, highly customizable interface that provides everything a internet user could need. The browser allows users to customize the appearance of UI elements such as background color, overall theme, address bar and tab positioning, and start pages. Vivaldi features the ability to "stack" and "tile" tabs, annotate web pages, add notes to bookmarks and much more. • I'm surprised they haven't found a way to fix that. As much as I don't like software wasting memory, a file manager is the kind of thing that makes sense to keep running in active memory for super-fast recall. I suspect that is why MS makes their File Explorer part of the main explorer.exe shell, so that it is guaranteed to always be running.
    • Seriously 1.8gig....so what. Any computer, if you are going to do serious work on, in 2026 should have a mimimum of 16gig and I would say 32-64gig is the way to go.
    • So again, you'd consider "I'm happy with my LG TV" to be a valid response to an article about PlayStation? I get the "I don't like any of their products" but how does that in any way invoke Linux? It just feels very random.
