Paulba Share Posted October 17, 2005 Put your motherboard in a bucket with warm soapy water and clean it with a toothbrush. And no I'm not joking. 586683044 Totally agree with this option, Have cleaned nearly 500 boards from various systems (medical/military/consumer) and as long as it is rinsed properly and VERY dry it is the best method. The water will not damage anything that has no power, in saying that remove the battery or the powered rom before cleaning (any sort of cleaning). Be gentle with the tooth brush as you don?t want to break any bits. If there are any paper labels you might want to copy what they say before any cleaning. Just a reminder, soap removes dirt, alcohol dissolves most things but not dirt, although it will probably sterilise the board for you.
Guest *Minimal* Share Posted October 17, 2005 You shoulda gotten an Asus A8N-SLI Premium. 586683164 Then a more expensive motherboard would have been ruined.
