6.bmp - Network

also more icons in section 5,6 like UMD Icon, PSP Update, Memory Savegames, Cetrificate Utility, Gamesharing, Remote Play, Location free Player, Online Instruction Manuals. (Plus Battery, 4 states: Full, 60%,30%,less than 10%)

I hope someone will try to make those, I've tried but my conversion to 8bit looks bad

are these the 24px icons mentioned ? if yes, then i use them, and please don't purge them. (Programs, Settings, Search, Run)
Nyet, those are 32x32. In Win95-ME/NT4-2000, they're 24x24ish icons with some border. In XP, they didn't bother and they're full 32x32. I think they look better as 24x24 with border, so I duplicated the effect using Tango's 22x22 stuff, but then I would, being such a Classic wh*re. The only thing XP uses 24x24 for is the right pane of the XP Start Panel running at 32x32 (the non-classic version), AFAICT, so it's really a waste of space (even if they are really well done).

I've been converting GIT2 icons to 256 colors with no alpha channel for ReactOS. Does it need to be in a specific palette, or will any arbitrary combination of 256 colors do?
it's a classic start menu with large icons.

the different categories are folders with custom icons containing shortcuts. the ugly blue "win xp pro ... " vertical ribbon has been removed with reshack. (explorer.exe)

I cant add folders to the menu, how u can??

From out of nowhere, I actually spin up a "weekly test build." If you don't remember me saying anything about that, take a peek at the first post; I've got a plan. Scary, huh?

7.02 Unstable (2007/02/14)

[*]Download from mirror Omicron (benpbrown.com)

downloaded, will be installed soon, thanks

What happened to the Applications section on the website? I browsed it a week ago and now it's dissapeared. I'm looking for the icolorfolder skin. Is it included in the package? (I haven't installed it yet)
D'oh. I took it down, since I don't have the time to do an "application skin database," let alone do it well. I'd forgotten I'd tossed some of my own stuff there as well. It'll be back up before you read this.

not sure but if you could compile and give me pack just of few icons I could try to use them and see how they will look like

    • It is when it's a desktop in my house though for a PC that's lightly used and not really important when it is. If it was a laptop, it would be a different story. The real solution is varied and begins starting at post #22 in that thread.
