wow that is huge. i will appreciate the "show last played arcade game first". i hated waiting for the damn thing to scan all my games.

do you guys think this will help play backed up movies that are on DL discs? it can read them now, but they don't play back very well, and often pause or freeze. my xbox1 can play them fine...

OH LORD MAY IT BE TRUE?! I'm so sick of my graphics screwing up when streaming music. *does a little dance*

And boot to dashboard support!

And multiple downloads!

w00t! I love you MS! Now all I need is streaming video support and I will be a super happy camper. :blush:

Having just updated my dashboard, my console now hangs.

I havent done extensive testing, but it seems about 5 minutes in, i hear a chime (as if a friend had just connected), and it completely stops doing anything. Never had any other issues with the console before.

The update is great and love the background and boot to dash features and overall it seems as if the guide moves smoother and a bit faster does anyone else think so ?

Opps, how did I miss your post. Yeah, I'd definitely say that the opening and closing of the guide is much better now. On mine (I dunno if this is what your talking about), but you could see the image tearing in the corners.

Yeah, setup my 360 to boot to dashboard, it does that fine ... im talking about the dashboard being curved and all ... it's not curved at all :l

:blink: What does it look like then? The dashboard has always been curved with the blades and all. Try switching themes.

      Nah. For every indie dev that needs to create code for "stuff" or textures, it's a godsend enabler to possibly tackle a project that you may not otherwise. The end result and testing will tell the truth if everything works or doesn't, or a game is just mediocre slop, but now these tools are now there and it's the developer's duty to judge the outcome, and even more so for pro studios. And you gotta remember that they will be at an early stage.

      As a game dev, today was really depressing. They announced that Blueprints will be deprecated in UE6 to be fully replaced by their sh**ty Python-like Verse language... They also announced that 5.8 will be the last version of UE5 until UE6 comes out in MID 2029!!!! They have completely lost the plot.
