Rudy 457 Posted March 11, 2006 doesnt look right i must say but if its real then the world is doomed well at least he didnt just pop out of nowhere, he's been on the contest page before and has been talking to the guy running the contest about his progress (and he's the only one that was working on a CMS as far as i know)

MrA 6 Posted March 11, 2006 Isn't there a CSM in the Tianocore SDK? Why doesn't he use that instead of making his own?

Rudy 457 Posted March 11, 2006 Isn't there a CSM in the Tianocore SDK? Why doesn't he use that instead of making his own? my guess is that it would be hard to make it compatible with the imac (but im not 100% sure)
mad_onion 13 Posted March 11, 2006 A sad moment in time... so i dont understand... you dont want people to have choice of what os they use with their mac so are you a communist?

Rudy 457 Posted March 11, 2006 Don't You mean CSM not CMS? CMS is a Content Management System yes i do.... sorry about that  oh btw if his solution is working this would also mean most x86 OS should run on the new macs (ie: Win2k, Vista, Linux (without the EFI hacks))
ThunderRiver 2 Posted March 11, 2006 A sad moment in time... You are missing the point. It is to prove the point that you CAN do it..not all the BS about EFI preventing Xp from landing in Mac. Whether it is sad or not, that's your problem.

drshdw 0 Posted March 11, 2006 someone at work pointed out it might be fake..... look at this picture: look at the bottom right corner of the screen..... Light bends/bleeds...especially with that big of a contrast..(white/black) A sad moment in time... Because the iMac uses a Conroe? So I could say, sad moment in time for PCs?
dougal.s 0 Posted March 11, 2006 A few of the others look slightly odd also. It strikes me as strange that someone who has an iMac, and all this time to carry out low-level programming, doesn't own a digital camera that produces photographs of a decent quality! Dougal.
