Simplicity Winamp Skin

Recommended Posts

Appreciate you taking the time to explain the problem so well Sмεη. It's been happening to me too, I just can't understand why it only does it from the systray or taskbar. ?

Plug-in wise, other than the defaults i have Enhancer (which i've stopped using) and the Live Messenger plug that's about it. I shd also point out that hitting the close button on the skin doesnt crash, only when i close from the taskbar menu.

It is a beautiful skin. I prefer this to ClearOne

I just cannot seem to get it transparent.

Am I missing something completely obvious?

Hey guys I got a problem. I can't get the transparancy to work, I just installed it on my laptop. Enable alpha-blending is on, I don't have a problem when I use ClearOne but when I switch over to simplicity it doesn't work.

Cool, glad it's working for you now. :)

I've got a bit of news for everyone though. I will moving this weekend 1,000 miles away and will no longer be with my current ISP. My site will be going down probably within the next couple weeks, so I have updated the links in my sig to the place where you can still download my skins - Customize.org. It now has the latest versions of clearONE and Simplicity.

I'm sorry for the yo-yo effect of my website lately, but I assure you when I get it back online, it will be under my own flag and own domain. I can't say when that will be, just hopefully very soon. My internet access is also going to be limited for awhile, so I hope no one here will take my absence as indifference.

Well axilaix I hope you come back soon, really appreciate the work you have done. Two of the best ever winamp skins created.

I hope you take the time to get some influence and create something even better when you come back.

Howdy Guys,

I don't know how to make the album art appear in the main winamp window. How is this done, and where does the album art need to be?

I have a similar problem. I have cd covers in almost all my albums (1 cd cover per folder for an album) but sometimes they don't show up and they're all jpg's roughly 300x300. Some show, some dont.

Also is there a way to show album covers for single songs?

Rename your album art to cover.jpg or folder.jpg and that will work. I think there are other variations as well but I can't remember them.

There is no way to show album covers for single songs currently unless you use a third party application/plug-in.

is there one supported by simplicity?

No...

The plugins and third party apps show album covers in its own window

If I remember correctly, Axialix said that Winamp are working on allowing album covers to show by reading from ID3 tags...or something like that

that would be cool.

I'll just make an album cover that says "NO COVER" in my singles folder.

I have no idea why I hadn't thought of that before!

Going to make one too :p

  • 2 weeks later...

I'm trying to get the 1.0 ver of Simpilcity(from Customize) again(forgot to back it up). I had to re-installed Windows, so I lost it. But, the problem is that Customize.org has been down for a couple of days, and I can't get the file. Hopefully by Monday the site would be up and running, but if that doesn't happen, could someone make a ZIP file and upload it(Yousendit)? Much props for whoever comes thru, One. PS tight forums, BTW.
