Official 2006 NBA Basketball Playoffs

Recommended Posts

Well, I haven't posted in an NBA thread all season I think. That's mainly because I generally don't watch the NBA or care about it. I tend to prefer college b-ball. But this year I decided to try to catch some playoff games. Luckily I stumbled across two great ones. The Cleveland-Washington series and the Lakers-Suns series were simply amazing. Can't get over how godd practically EVERY game was. And though I'm NOT a Kobe fan by any stretch of the imagination, and I believe that we should wait a bit before crowning LeBron James as the second coming of MJ I gotta give both of them props. LeBron showed that he has not only met but exceeded lots of the hype. Guy is simply amazing. I still refuse to call him the second coming but the potential is there. Still has to earn the rings though. And Kobe showed that he can be the guy who makes his teammates better (for a few games at least). Those two series will definitely get to me to pay closer attantion to the rest of the playoffs. Just can't express enough how impressed I was with the quality of games in both. Plus the Clippers won a playoff series so that makes it even more intriguing lol.

That Suns/Clipps game was insane. Best playoff game so far this year.

Bell is a punk but his ass save the Suns. He was clutch on that play. He still flops like the loser he is though.

Dunleavy choked by putting a few players that wasn't even suppoe to be out there. WTF was he thinking? That 3 pt shot should've been a foul but they also risk giving 3 ft to Bell since it was a catch & shoot. Bell could've been in motion to shoot if they foul him. So what Clipps should have done is just guard the 3 pt line & let them get an easy 2.

The refs were ok tonight but..

-They miss that hold on Brand with 1 sec left in OT

-Bell falls on his own & Sam gets a foul

-Nash push Livingston & gets a way with it

-Livingston did not step out of bound

-JJ jumped over Livingstong & he gets a foul

It's still going to 7 imo.

bell is awesome dude. i really like the suns "team" attitude. instead of getting upset at the mistakes they've made (ie heat, clips, lakers, etc.), they support each other, stay positive, and get their teammates backs.

spurs goin down baby :)

this year is for dirk!

Great great win by Cleveland tonight, but they MUST win the next game, if this goes seven and it's in Detroit, I'm thinking the Cavaliers will fold. My prediction is that whoever wins this series is going to the finals against Dallas.

Na.. I think Miami will destroy Cleveland.

Detroit is only losing because Flip doesn't know what he is doing! Its very frustrating.

i hope shaq gets a ring with mia, im a laker fan that takes alot of **it by saying shaq is better then kobe.

and mia just hopes the Det cle series go to 7 games.

I can't stand Shaq. I just want Detroit to beat Cleveland cause I think Miami will beat Cleveland.

    • with LSTC and ESU, moving to w11 or linux because w10 suddenly will not work when in reality it works and its a better choice, of course there are also developers that only test in 11 or force you to have TPM and Secure boot for the sake of "better security" in games. or most likely people is buying new PC that only ship with 11
    • with LTSC and ESU there are still viable as a stable platform not that they care and let people deal with w11 crashing and burning every month support mean shet if the platform is trash
    • Most boring game ever. Repetitive, empty, predictable, and full of cliches. Total waste of time and money, IMO.
    • Mafia: The Old Country expansion Man of Honor announced, brings back Salieri from original by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe During Summer Game Fest, 2K and Hanger 13 brought out a new Mafia: The Old Country trailer, revealing the game's first expansion. Named Man of Honor, this is slated to add two new chapters to the Enzo storyline that the game follows. There is an iconic character returning to the series with this expansion, with players set to run into Ennio Salieri, the future Don of the Salieri crime family. Fans of the original Mafia, or its Definitive Edition remake, may remember that name as one of the biggest characters in the storyline. This expansion is set prior to his rise to being the kingpin in the City of Lost Heaven. "Set in Sicily during the winter of 1905, Enzo Favara has proven himself a reliable soldier of the Torrisi crime family in the months since his initiation," says the studio about the new chapters. "Now, the Don entrusts him and Cesare with a delicate assignment of assisting Ennio Salieri, a man of honor recently released from prison and intent on reclaiming what is his." Working at Salieri's side, players will be heading into fresh environments as they return to the role of Enzo as a high-ranking soldato. The studio also promises brand-new weapons, fresh vehicles, and charms to collect in this expansion. Moreover, the expansion will add new content to the updated Free Ride mode. Alongside new collectibles and locations, this will add more challenges to beat alongside Salieri, which are described as runs that will "test the skills of even the most elite mafiosi." The Mafia: The Old Country Man of Honor story expansion will release on August 14, 2026, across PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. It will cost $10 for owners of the base game to jump into.
