To the dude with the screenshot of Dr. Dre's Album appearing four times:

Take a closer look, on the tracks on the second and fourth album, there is an entry on the composer section. My guess is to clear those entries and your probs should be solved.

That's correct, if you right click on a track and then goto Advanced Tag something (can't remember exactly), and you will see that the songs that are seperated either have something like "Composer" - some songs have it filled in, others don't. And on mine, I had some where the "Album Artist" was filled in, but some others weren't and this was causing them to seperate.

^ To those with split albums, what you have to do is make sure that the Album Artist field in the advanced tag editor is the same for each and every song in the album. The Artist filed can be different, but the album artist has to be the same. Changing the Composer field doesn't make a difference in most cases.

Once you finish editing, go to a different part of the Library, and then click the Back button. Your album will now appear whole.

To quickly fix album artist problems you should use the Album Art Fixer program. It will detect all the albums that don't have the album artist filled in and fix it for you. It also helps find cover art too, hence the name. You can also find this on wmplugins.com. The official plugin site may not have alot of useful plugins, but they do have a few that I think are necessary to have better music support.

In WMP 10, my library use to be arranged according to artist, and I could go from A to W by just pressing the key. In WMP 11, this works in the Artist mode of the library. How do I get this to work in the Recently Added mode, if it can be done?

Well ive managed to get hole of it, and i have the link to downlaod but can't post it,

Don't forget its publicly released tommorow, but i couldn;t wait!

its amazing!

Are you saying you got the build thats going to be released tomorrow or the same build we all have now? Just curious...

wow,my redhot chilli peppers albums are piled up,i'll need to organize that up,for the rest of my albums,it's all in order

by the way, anyone knows how to change the player background?,i can't seem to find it

One thing that stops me from migrating to WMP11 is that I cannot sort my albums according to disk. Until it does, I'm sticking with iTunes as WMP11 still needs to restructure its library arrangement that is similar to Windows and iTunes.

    • Can you still click his nose in the about box?
    • In that case this product has no value to me. I'd rather use older Creative SB that were better in my opinion or onboard audio chip.
