I have 7zip it has better compression ratios and tbh it works great

I thought http://www.rarlabs.com was winrars site or have they updated to that new url?

rarlabs.com is the developement side, while win-rar.com is the corporate side. They're both the same thing basically.

Depends on what you do. Honestly, WinRAR in MOST uses is superior to 7zip. I download 7zip as a tool for "users", but personally own WinRAR for better compression and additional options.
