They should have anticipated this. It used to be called Slashdot effect, but now with sites like digg, del.ico and neowin, sites dont stand a chance if they happen to creep into one of these vortex of bandwidth suckage. Me im a 7z user and only use rar once in a while to extract some rare rar files.

Funny thing is this thread got not only Digged but Slashdotted (I think) and pasted all over del.ic.ious. Heh.

I agree, they should have forseen this sort of demand. Any company in this day and age especially with Digg around that doesn't plan ahead for something like this, is just asking for a meltdown. :|

Well this is to help everyone here as i foudn form the DIGG story AquaDEX posted

its the same reg for everyone who got accepted so i doubt this would a be illegal

Yeah but don't you still need to download that specific winrar or can you use that in the 3.51 in rarlab?

You should download the rarkey.rar from this link (http://www.win-rar.com/bestoverallutility/download.php) you get in email (has an unique id also) after registering at http://www.win-rar.com/bestoverallutility/

be patient and keep trying it does work eventually. click submit, wait 10 seconds, check email then repeat until you receive your download link (only works twice). I got my email after 9 trys (but it took about 15 retrys to get to the form).

Use your key file (inside rarkey.rar) with official WinRAR 3.51 from http://www.rarlabs.com/rar/wrar351.exe only!!

Ooo thanks, I have removed the link, but it doesn't really matter it doesn't seem to have any virus or anything.

      Ooooh! Two editorial from Paul Hill on the same day! Is it my birthday or something? 😉 Okay, let's see if I get it right. SearXNG develops a meta-search engine app. Individuals install it on their relays. Users connect to these relays to have their own identity-stripping meta-search engine instead of relying on DuckDuckGo. And some of these volunteers have listed their SearXNG instances on SearX.space. That was a lot of wrap my head around. I hope I haven't missed anything.
