That's more of a blooper than a glitch :)

too much time around computers. once i looked out the window and saw the light reflecting off the pond in my garden, i actually thought "Wow, those water graphics are amazing" before realizing it was real life lol

amyway, i dont think kate was as muddy in that shot as she is after actually falling in the mud.

i'm looking forward to the french women's flashback, that'll be interesting, maybe we'll see how she arrived on the island!!!

She said she arrived on a boat didnt she with her crew who then started to die...so it would be interesting to see if she was tellling the truth...btw your sig rules...nien nunb is so classic :D

From one of my trusted sources here is a very little snippet to help feed your addiction. "Desmond's flashback in Catch-22 does not deal with Desmond's time in the military as previously rumoured"

Well i'm back (been a way for a week) and just watched the episode on TV, annoying when watching with adverts.

Anyways, even though there wasn't answers and more questions came up i enjoyed the episode, i reckon Juliet has to know more about smokey, next weeks episode looks entertaining!

people seem to care way to much about finding out everything, why cant just watch it for its entertainment value like they do for virtually every other show.

In every other show you find out things (at least for the ones I watch) and it has entertainment value when you find out things :p

there's a pretty noticeable glitch in this episode, don't how nobody mention it. I've captured 2 frames, one after Juliette falls and drags Kate with her, now look at Kate, when she's on her why down to the mad she's already dirty ..

I'm guessing the scene took couple of shots and the lost directors didn't had time to clean Kate :)

AHA!! a stunt double. kate's jubblies are not that huge.

AHA!! a stunt double. kate's jubblies are not that huge.

Yeah defiantly. Next frame she falls in the mud and her whole face goes in the mud and straight after that Kate looks up and there is no mud on her face.

This is such bull****.

Juliette: I know his birthday, who his parents are, who his wife was bla bla bla bla bla

Kate: You win this round.

How does she know all this ? Wasn't the plane crashes caused by an anomaly , which is a random event ? I'm pretty sure we see Ben and the Others at the begining of Season 3 running out of a house looking up at the plane breaking apart and looking well surprised and having to formulate some plan on the 'fly'. So where did they get all the back ground reports of all the characters ?

Well before Locke blew the sub to bits they could of gone out and got research on them all...I remember Ben had a file about Jack when he was talking to him once so that would explain how they know so much about everyone.

Juliet had that massive folder about him in the first episode of season 3, between the 80 days that Locke blew up the sub they should have go information on everyone.

Yeah plus we dont know really what sort of access they have...i.e satellite or internet...it has been discussed before I think of how they got the Baseball game back when...

Well the Flame Station (communications station) had a massive satellite dish on it, that was used to contact the outside world.

D.O.C Press Release and Guest List

SUN DISCOVERS THE IDENTITY OF HER UNBORN CHILD’S FATHER AFTER BEING EXAMINED BY JULIET, AND DESMOND ALLOWS AN UNLIKELY FOE TO HELP SAVE THE LIFE OF A MYSTERIOUS NEW ISLAND INHABITANT, ON ABC’S “LOST”

“D.O.C. – After discovering that all of “The Others’” pregnant women died before giving birth on the island, an extremely reticent Sun allows Juliet to examine her -- and uncovers the identity of the unborn child’s father. Meanwhile, Desmond allows an unlikely nemesis to help save the life of a new, mysterious island inhabitant, on “Lost,” WEDNESDAY, APRIL 25 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

“Lost” stars Naveen Andrews as Sayid, Henry Ian Cusick as Desmond, Emilie de Ravin as Claire, Michael Emerson as Ben, Matthew Fox as Jack, Jorge Garcia as Hurley, Josh Holloway as Sawyer, Daniel Dae Kim as Jin, Yunjin Kim as Sun, Evangeline Lilly as Kate, Elizabeth Mitchell as Juliet, Dominic Monaghan as Charlie and Terry O’Quinn as Locke.

Guest starring are Byron Chung as Mr. Paik, Andrew Divoff as Mikhail, Marsha Thomason as Naomi, John Shin as Mr. Kwon, Alexis Rhee as older woman, Esmond Chung as Paik’s associate and Jean Chung as Paik’s secretary.

Patchy is back!!...how? I remember on a podcast that they gave the impression that Patchy wasn't dead. Also who is this Marsha Thomason person? She is in the guest list for episode 17 and 18. Is she the "top secret" character that is meant to change everything on Lost?

Edited by Peewee210
Michael and Walt will likely be addressed in season four.

Yup, I think they've stated this in the podcast if I'm not mistaken. However, it wouldn't surprise me to see Michael and/or Walt return in the season three finale. That's one of the things I'm expecting for the season finale, other things include seeing another group of Others if not before.

didnt patchy die when he went through that super sonic fence? Also I heard that micheal and his son are going to come back. IS THIS TRUE?

They said on the podcast that Patchy will return but how...so that leaves the idea that he's alive or he's in the characters flashback...

    • Microsoft finally admits its default Windows 11 25H2, 24H2 action broke key legacy component by Sayan Sen Microsoft last week released Windows 11 KB5094126 and KB5093998 as the latest Patch Tuesday updates. Following that the company also published the accompanying dynamic updates under KB5094149, KB5095971, and KB5094156. So far the company has acknowledged two known issues that have popped up after the release which include bugged-out Office apps as well as the Recycle Bin; though there could be more at play too. Speaking of bugs and issues, Microsoft seems to have finally acknowledged a problem that probably has been around for close to a year. That's because back in July of 2025 the company made a default change to the latest Windows 11 versions, wherein it switched to JScript9Legacy on Windows 11 24H2 and later releases. Hence following the release of version 25H2 in October 2025, JScript9Legacy also remained default-enabled. As a result there has been a compatibility issue ever since then. For those wondering, by switching to JScript9Legacy Microsoft intended to improve the security of modern Windows PCs by reducing vulnerabilities tied to legacy scripting like cross-site scripting (XSS), among others. XSS exploits can allow cyber-attackers to attach malicious code onto legitimate websites and use them to execute the code when a potential victim loads such a website. Hence the new JScript9Legacy engine enforced stricter execution policies and improved object handling, which should help mitigate such attacks. Microsoft today has published a new support article detailing the problem. Neowin spotted it while browsing. The company says that JScript global definitions and execution context may fail to persist across scripts, potentially breaking older dependent apps and web-based components that relied on this legacy behavior. In the article Microsoft has confirmed that the issue stems from its move away from the older jscript9.dll engine in favor of jscript9legacy.dll. As mentioned above, while the newer engine was designed to address vulnerabilities and strengthen security it also changes how JScript handles execution context. As a result functions and definitions loaded by one script could no longer remain available to subsequent scripts once execution ended. The company notes that some applications worked correctly on earlier Windows versions because the older JScript engine automatically retained global definitions and execution state between scripts. Under the newer model though that behavior is disabled by default causing certain legacy workloads and polyfill-dependent scripts to fail. Microsoft says it addressed the problem via the KB5077241 update though the fix had not been enabled automatically in the following updates. As such admins must explicitly turn on persistent JScript execution context using a Registry setting that the tech giant shared today. The configuration can be applied to individual processes or system-wide through the FEATURE_ENABLE_PERSISTENCE registry key. The steps have been outlined below: Run the following command to create the feature control registry key: reg add "HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_ENABLE_PERSISTENCE" Under this key, create a new DWORD (32-bit) value. Configure the value as follows: To enable persistence for specific processes only: Set the value to 1 for each target process name. To enable persistence for all processes: Add * as the key name and set its value to 1. You can find the official support article here on Microsoft's website.
