Lost - Season Three

i still might be a flashback... kate and jack may have had a thing before going to the island..

all signs point to a flashback, except the ending.. that really boggles me, but could jack be talking about a vacation or something else?

wait... you're serious?

WHAT?!

Where on earth did someone pull that from? How do you get Christian being Sarah's baby's daddy? Some people are really, really reaching now...

How are we reaching? Jack in earlier flashbacks accused Sarah of dating his father. The executive producers said that we don't understand what they mean when they say that Christian Shepard is dead, so his status is unknown. The person we see there could be a decoy. We know that Dharma has no problems setting up decoys because of the other Flight 815 plane that was found, with all the bodies.

It is clear that Jack and Kate did not know each other prior to arriving on the island. That may not be a flash-forward in the sense we're taking it, but it is not a flashback by no means.

Must be a darn good decoy to fool the guy's son and you're assuming Naomi was telling the truth. We know she lied about working for Penny.

Another thing I just realized...

Pre-Walt Appearance:

Locke is incapable of killing anyone, good or bad.

Post-Walt Appearance:

Locke is incapable of killing good people; bad people, on the other hand... aka: Naomi

Between Locke talking to Walt and confronting Jack, something happened because he killed Naomi with the knife and he told Jack, "You're not supposed to do this." Jacob probably came to him... something!!

Must be a darn good decoy to fool the guy's son and you're assuming Naomi was telling the truth.
We're all assuming something. You're assuming Jack's father is dead when in fact the executive producers have stated that we don't fully understand what they mean by "dead" so he clearly isn't dead in the normal sense like what Shannon and Boone are.

Or maybe he is dead, like Shannon and Boone, and he can appear to someone, just like other dead people have? The guy was on a slab, we've seen his dead corpse. At this point, we can say, yes, he did die, but with Lost, there's something else at play that will have Christian Shephard appear. I doubt it will be a living, breathing one, but more of what Jack was seeing in the first few episodes of Lost.

I could be wrong too, but at this point, we know Christian Shephard was seen dead.

The problem with gimmick show's like lost is that once the gimmick is revealed most people will be really disappointed in the ending.

Things I hate about the show:

1. The women are always tough badasses who can knock grown men out with one punch and yet they don't weigh more then 120 pounds.

2. Characters that don't die. I'm sorry but Patchy should be dead and why didn't they shoot him a few times to make sure.

3. To many questions and lame premises that go nowhere, the numbers, the hatch, the black smoke, the others, the big foot statue with 4 toes, etc.

I'm pretty sure most viewers will be really disappointed with the ending.

Wow The ending ..Thats after they get off the Island? Jack made a mess of him self after coming back..Cause you know how before they would alway show flash backs, now there going to start showing future clips?

Walt has appeared to Sayid/Shannon and Locke and he isn't dead, so the visions have nothing to do with who's dead and who's alive.

2. Characters that don't die. I'm sorry but Patchy should be dead and why didn't they shoot him a few times to make sure.

Patchy could be just like Ethan i.e Superhuman...all that time on the Island could do something to you...

1. Hurmoth's theory on Michael seems to fit nicely. At first I was thinking that the name from the paper could be an anagram (We all know the writers love to use them), But the resentment toward Michael escaping and not telling anyone...Seems pretty probable.

2. The phone number means nothing, JediX (And please stop double and triple posting, Use the edit button).

3. Julie Bowen the actress (Sarah) Jack's Ex-Wife is actually pregnant in real life (A bit hard to cover up). She also plays on Boston Legal, were they have worked her real life pregnancy into the show. Pretty good for Lost though, It raises questions as to who's baby it is...And also establishes a forward jump in time. So the pregnancy could mean nothing, and could be just a coincidental thing.

The room charlie was in should have never actually filled up with water completely, only to the level of the window, so he wouldnt have drowned.

Surely wouldn't the pressure off the water outside at that depth cause the entire room to flood?

Just a thought, I'm not a scientist.

heres what i think.

In the coffinits michael, the reason no1 showed up is becasue maybe he didnt tell any1 about the island wen he got off.

On the boat, its not dharma, but another group, a 3rd group more dangerous than the others, and the others are affrad of them. the smoke is this groups spy tool, when it took pictures of juliet and also when she sed " we dotn know what it is but we know it doesnt like our fence". Bt if it i a 3rd group, why did they let jack and kate go?

obviously the ending was a flash forward, but maybe somthing happens to prevent this, maybe jack see's the future or desmond and they stay. also with Walt appearing all the time. Didnt people keep saying walt is special? maybe walt is jacob or somthing or jacob sent walt to te outside world for instance, jacob coud be god, and gods son is jesus (kinda crazy i no but so)

aslo i would like to know..

what happend to mikhail?, desmond, jacob

and if they were rescued, what about he others? wer did they go?

how did john know tht jack would regret using the phone? did jacob help locke like ben sed he hoped?

the fake plane and bodies?

Personally i didnt like the ending, too many questions and i cant see the writers having a perfect answer for it. i cant see how they would even bend this ending round to continue lost. I mean what if thats it? what is there is no season 4? if not then we have questions un-asnwerd

any of you two got any theories on what sason 4 wil contain?

Season 4 will probably contain the approaching Ship that Jack made contact with and what the consequences could be of him making that call...also we will get more answers around the Island i.e Jacob and maybe the Statue and even more maybe more Dharma Stations...

the writers tired to throw us off corse during the show with the whole flashback. they tried to do this by jack " go bring my father down here" obv this is a joke beacause his father is dead and the doctor who he is talking to is the new chief of surgery. jacks dad was cheif of surgery. Just thought id mention it

I have a feeling that the first episode of the 4th season will be about what Locke experience with Walt, what he learns and where he goes off to afterwards. I dont believe Locke would leave the Island either even if there were a rescue. So I dont believe he is the dead guy.

and according to the Oceanic Airlines site they have cancelled all flights. How can he have a golden pass to anywhere if the company doesnt 'exist' anymore.

Good Finale though. Waiting until Feb is going to be so horrible. x.x Damn you lost writers!!!!

    • Microsoft now allows you to tweak Visual Studio to new extremes by Usama Jawad Visual Studio 2026 recently netted a powerful feature that finally allows developers to review Git Pull Requests (PRs) directly in the integrated development environment (IDE), without needing to switch to the browser. However, that's not all that Microsoft introduced in the latest version, as it also offered a useful way to customize the IDE to their heart's content. Although Visual Studio 2026 already provides lots of stock themes based on Fluent Design principles, Microsoft understands that people still want to customize them further according to their preferences. The IDE now offers a new configuration page for themes under Tools > Options > Environment > Visual Experience > Theme colors. This allows you to set hex color codes for accent colors, hover states, and more, and apply them without requiring a restart. The Redmond tech giant further says that: Microsoft is also offering granular color tokens that allow you to customize various UX elements like the tab header without impacting the rest of the shell chrome. Your themes are also stored in JSON format in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\VisualStudio\18.0_xxxxxxxx\ColorThemes, which basically enables you to share it with others or override existing themes. This is a major improvement in terms of the user experience powering these customization capabilities. This is because extensions were required to replace the theme, and it was not very easy to make minor adjustments. This theme configuration UX solves this problem and is available in Visual Studio 2026 version 18.7, available here.

    • A few weeks ago, I had this same exact issue. Unfortunately, I didn't think of disabling the Secure Boot option in BIOS. I updated my BIOS to the latest version for my MB and it resolved the issue.
