Jedi man just close your mouth, your making yourself look like a fool.

Bales mother and sister are a bunch of drunk leeches. They were wasted and demanding access to his hotel room. When they weren't granted it they sat outside his door yelling in the halls. When Bale got there they were demanding money and wouldn't get out of his way and let him his in room. They got into a shouting match and he pushed them away from the door.

Get the details before you start running your mouth, there have been people arrested that never did a thing and there are others that don't when they should the world isn't perfect, but because someone got arrested doesn't make them a bad person, the truth can be twisted. I for one support him, as I've been in that situation before.

Just saw this on Digg...what you think?

8 Enemies they could use for Batman 3:

I was thinking Harley Quinn.

The riddler, penguin, or Dr. freeze would be cool also.

Latley villans have came in two in hero movies. So it will most likley be 2.

My vote is on the Riddler/penguin.

Spring, TX?

...Cypress over here!! Nice!

Yeah, people get arrested for anything these days. Depends on the cops mood.

I read a long time ago that Harley Quinn was meant to be in this movie played by Sarah Jayne Dunn but it never happened in the end.

I could see the next movie having Riddler as the main villain with Penguin, Catwoman, and Harley Quinn playing side characters. Harley Quinn would be perfect as she could be morning Jokers death (I assume they will kill him off somehow) I read somewhere that Penguin would be in it, but not the main villain, just some gang banger type guy. Catwoman would be a nice edition but not as the focus just another distraction to batman. I have a feeling she will be in it since Fox said that his new suit would hold up against cats just fine. I think its more than just humor, especially since it held up against 3 dogs just fine.

Harley Quinn!!!!

I cant stand the cat women my self.

On a side note, I just watched Bourne 3 and feel asleep with bordem. Horrible movie.

No way will Nolan have all those great villains (in the comics/tv show) in one entire movie. Especially any of them playing second fiddle to another villain without a back story. That cat line has nothing to do with Catwoman being in the third.

It was released yesterday in Belgium and I took the day off to see it. I am surprised by the performance of the Joker. What a way to say good bye. Amazing. Batman was terrible, his voice alone made me chuckle every time and I don't like that in a Batman movie. Bruce on the other hand was great but next time they crash a Lamborghini I am going to sue them. Lambos are not made to be crashed, not even in movies.

I loved the movie even though I expected better. 8/10

Just saw the movie tonight.

All I can say is 6 STARS!!!! ***** the best by far comic book film released to date....the great thing is it has such a realistic feel to it...better than the spiderman series IMO...and I like spiderman alot...but it's two different comic style hero's so it's really no comparison.

Nolan is a genius.

The Joker outshined Batman in this one....as the main character no doubt.....he was the most entertaining piece of the film....sad that Heath won't be around to continue the role.... He's a big loss to the Franchise.

I laughed at him and with him while watching it....even though it was a very serious film with alot of violence which made it more real...

just how pychotic he is...and at the same time he's so schitzo.....to see many sides of him....you didn't know what side was coming next from the Joker.

It was a Hell of a ride.

LOL best film of the year 2008.

Aaron Eckhart would reprise his role from The Dark Knight - because working with Christian Bale is "phenomenal".

Eckhart, who plays District Attorney Harvey Dent in the sequel, confesses he "absolutely" would star in a third Batman film.

He tells WENN, "To work with Christian (Bale) all over again, and the cast, would be phenomenal. I think this movie is a movie of a lifetime."

/source

It was the Joker on the corner, he put the mask on as the car pulled up, and they likely weren't staring at his face, besides his head was down and there wasn't exactly a lot of people walking around him to be noticed.

Also Joker never killed Dent's girl, remember throughout the movie got other mob bosses' henchman to work for him, he likely called the shots but he tricked them by reversing their locations. Besides the part that got through to Dent at the hospital scene was how Joker was telling him it was one of the cops who tipped them off on where she and Dent was. It was then he believed the Joker wasn't responsible. Also his coin was a great addition, how it was double faced so he just was toying with people, then how it got burned and became his tool for deciding, the same way Joker made them decide who to save. I also liked how they made him Two-Face. Putting his face in acid would have been cool to see but technically should have killed him, the fire was a good way to have him survive it. I thought the burnt suit was a little silly though. Change your clothes? :)

I was wondering about the burnt suit... he obviously changed clothes after the 'accident' lol... I think the burnt clothes were because he killed the driver and the car went off the road so that was the only explanations I had for his clothes

The sad part is, neither Nolan nor Bale Comment on a third installment. Except For:

"Bale, I'll return if Nolan directs it".

I think they had already planned 3 movies didnt they? I guess the Heath situation changes things,... I mean, they probably had something planned for the joker in the third movie. And since they are touting this movie as the best movie since the godfather based in great part on heath's outstanding performance... I think they will think twice about recasting.

anyway, the movie was absolutely awesome, and DARK. It ****s all over the whole spiderman trilogy. Well, iron man alone was better than any spidey movie lol.

I liked PLOT a lot, and not so much the character development of most of the characters. Rachel sucked. Not Maggie, but the character. The joker was awesome. Both the character and the actor. Harvey... not so much, because of the sudden change. I liked Gordon and Fox though. As for batman/ bruce I was kinda dissapointed, but it was great anyway.

I didn't even think of that. Good point, loved that scene. I also loved the scene where the throws the guy off the fire escape when he knows it won't kill him, I laughed so hard during that scene.

Also I'd love it if Eckhart returned for the 3rd movie. It would have to be done right, but Eckhart playing Dent/Two Face was amazing. He is quite good.

just saw this pop up in my google news

Is The Dark Knight really the best film ever made?

It's shot straight to the top of imdb.com's top films of all time. Fair praise for Christopher Nolan? Or is this a vote-rigging scandal by Bat-fans?

A far better barometer, though, is the Internet Movie Database's top 250, where The Dark Knight has deposed The Godfather as the No 1 movie. This is no mean feat. In fact, it's incredible. Coppola's crime opus has held the imdb's top spot ever since I've been using it - at least 10 years. The next highest 21st century movie is The Lord Of The Rings: Return Of The King at No 14.

The IMDB's chart is significant as it is "live", and is decided on the ratings of hundreds of thousands of members of the public. Not just drooling fans either. You have to be a registered user, and even then, as IMDB put it, "we deliberately do not disclose the criteria used for a person to be counted as a regular voter." In other words, you can't just think, "that Dark Knight movie freakin' sucks" or "Heath Ledger's slashed cheeks weren't nearly as hardcore as Tadanobu Asano's in Ichi The Killer", then register as a user and give the movie one out of ten - they'll realise what you're up to and discount your vote.

In that country you are arrested until proven innocent...
umm have you looked at what qualifies as assault ?

it wasn't assault and battery. it was just assault and that can be a lot of things.

Jedi, In America if a female accuses a male of anything its almost instant arrest.

WOW Everybody is supporting Bale!!!

Well, I NEVER got arrested or charged (I guess I am a VERY good behaving citizen), so I hardly understand how often people get falsely arrested.

Thanks to enlighten me, that it is often.

Alright, so he didn't do anything wrong... fine then :p

He makes movies, I could give a crap less what he does in his personal life. Its not my business.

I disagree somewhat on that, if a person who just clubs or party a lot whatever, sure it doesn't matter.

Like Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan, I don't understand why these media care about their party life so damn much...

However, if any person I liked is actually doing bad things, then I completely will respect this person much less!

    • A 13 billion year old secret about our Universe's origin was revealed by Sayan Sen Image by Pascal Küffer via Pexels Researchers at the Max-Planck-Institut für Kernphysik (MPIK) in Heidelberg had recreated a key chemical reaction from the early universe, producing results that could change scientists' understanding of how the first stars formed. The study focused on the helium hydride ion (HeH⁺), which is widely regarded as the first molecule to form in the universe. Scientists believe HeH⁺ appeared around 380,000 years after the Big Bang, when the universe had cooled enough for electrons and atomic nuclei to combine into neutral atoms in a period known as recombination. This marked the beginning of chemistry in the cosmos. Immediately after the Big Bang about 13.8 billion years ago, the universe was extremely hot and dense. As it expanded and cooled, hydrogen and helium became the dominant elements. Once neutral helium atoms formed, they could react with ionised hydrogen nuclei, or protons, to create helium hydride ions. Although simple in structure, HeH⁺ played an important role in the young universe. It was the first step in a chain of reactions that eventually produced molecular hydrogen (H₂), a molecule made up of two hydrogen atoms and now the most abundant molecule in the universe. Molecular hydrogen later became a key ingredient in the formation of the first stars. At the time, the universe had entered a phase often called the cosmological "dark age." Matter had become transparent to light following recombination, but there were still no stars or galaxies producing visible light. Several hundred million years would pass before the first stars appeared. For those first stars to form, large clouds of gas had to collapse under their own gravity. To do that, the gas needed to cool by releasing energy. While hydrogen atoms can help with this process at high temperatures, they become less effective below about 10,000 degrees Celsius. Molecules can continue the cooling process by releasing energy through rotational and vibrational motions. Scientists have long considered HeH⁺ a potentially important coolant because of its comparatively large dipole moment, a property that describes how electric charge is distributed within a molecule and allows it to release energy efficiently. The amount of helium hydride present in the early universe may therefore have influenced how easily the first stars could form. At the same time, HeH⁺ was constantly being destroyed. Under primordial conditions, its main destruction mechanisms were recombination with free electrons and chemical reactions with hydrogen atoms. These reactions ultimately helped produce molecular hydrogen, linking the formation and destruction of HeH⁺ to the chemistry that shaped the early universe. For many years, theoretical studies suggested that reactions between HeH⁺ and hydrogen atoms would become much slower at low temperatures. Scientists believed there was an energy barrier along the reaction pathway that reduced the chances of the reaction taking place in the cold conditions of the early universe. The new study suggests otherwise. To investigate the process, researchers recreated a closely related reaction using deuterium, a naturally occurring isotope of hydrogen that contains one proton and one neutron in its nucleus. When HeH⁺ collides with deuterium, it forms an HD⁺ ion and a neutral helium atom. This allows scientists to study the reaction in a controlled way while closely mimicking the behaviour of the original reaction involving hydrogen. The experiments were carried out at the Cryogenic Storage Ring (CSR) at MPIK, a specialised facility designed to recreate conditions similar to those found in space. Researchers stored HeH⁺ ions in the 35-metre storage ring for up to 60 seconds at temperatures just a few kelvins above absolute zero and merged them with a beam of neutral deuterium atoms. By adjusting the speeds of the two particle beams, the team measured how the reaction rate changed with collision energy, which is directly related to temperature. The researchers found that the reaction rate remains almost constant as temperatures decrease. In other words, the reaction does not slow down at low temperatures as earlier models predicted. “Previous theories predicted a significant decrease in the reaction probability at low temperatures, but we were unable to verify this in either the experiment or new theoretical calculations by our colleagues,” explained Dr Holger Kreckel of MPIK. “The reactions of HeH⁺ with neutral hydrogen and deuterium therefore appear to have been far more important for chemistry in the early universe than previously assumed,” he continued. According to the researchers, the reaction appears to be barrierless, meaning there is no energy obstacle preventing it from taking place efficiently even at very low temperatures. The findings support recent theoretical work led by physicist Yohann Scribano, whose group identified an error in a widely used potential energy surface, a mathematical model used to describe how the energy of a system changes during a chemical reaction. The error appears to have caused previous studies to significantly underestimate reaction rates under primordial conditions. The new calculations closely match the experimental results. Together, they suggest that helium chemistry in the early universe may need to be re-evaluated. Because molecules such as HeH⁺ and molecular hydrogen played an important role in cooling primordial gas clouds, the findings could help scientists build more accurate models of how the first stars formed. By showing that helium hydride was likely destroyed more efficiently than previously thought, the study offers new insight into the chemical processes that shaped the universe during its earliest stages and helped set the conditions for the emergence of the first stars. • It could EASILY be 70 for the base game BUT + lots of FOMO to make it up to 100-120, like a few days Early Access, online money, pre-order bonus cars, weapons, missions, clothing, avatars or profile stuff, etc... And still WAY TOO MANY people would buy those and make Rockstar insane money.
