rush n attack, aka Green Beret in some parts of the world, is your typical horizontal actioner...it preceded Contra and some others like Bad Dudes. yes, primo cold war stuff...i was twelve my man, you didn't exist yet? heh heh

It's a blast with four people. And it's pretty fun going solo, too.

i think Contra and Double Dragon are nice with two players as well...the single player isn't as compelling.
