.Neo
My Boot Camp 2.0 is only 12.4MB. I think in Leopard the drivers are stored somewhere else but I don't know where. On the Mac OS X Leopard Install DVD. You can extract them from Windows only, which I did using VMware Fusion. furby
Ok, got them off the dvd, is about 400mb. But could probably half it if I get rid of the nvidia or ati drivers. Which mac (graphics card) have you got? Which mac (graphics card) have you got? I have an ATI X1600 256MB. I'm thinking that uploading 400MB somewhere is going to be a hassle mate, don't worry if its too much trouble. I'll nip into the Apple Store and see if the tech guys will use a Leopard DVD they have there. Out of interest, anyone know if there is much change with the Boot Camp 2.0 drivers and the 1.4 version? rajputwarrior
they have the new keyboard drivers in there, but you should be fine with the 1.3 with the hardware you are running. Liek the keyboard acts like it does with osx, like the volume indicator pops up and brightness and makes the noise that it does in OSX. that's the only dif i saw other then support for newer models. Well it's 157mb without the nvidia drivers. Christ knows how they mount up to that much. If the upload is quick I'll pm you. fukachu
I think Apple did a great job with the menu bar. I only wish I could force it to turn on on my iMac G5. :( it doesn't work on your iMac G5?? works fine on mine.. am i missing your meaning? i've got a rev. b and yeah i love the menu bar, looks great, overall i have very little interest in modifying the look of leopard, the default look suits me just fine. Xero
Heres a good example at how the Menu Bar adapts to the Wallpaper: It does look nice, but I really wish there was more of a gradient on it, it seems far to flat on certain wallpapers. I also don't like the bright white, I'd much prefer my black menubar for my theme which has been placed on an indefinite wait due to Leopards lovely new methods of drawing the GUI with code. However, if anyone has any ideas on how to try and hack it to manually change it feel free to drop me a pm, in fact if someone can help me find where the Menubar is stored I'll see what I can do myself, but I can't seem to find where Mac OS stores it. Its not part of Finder, or the Dock, and there isn't something obviously like a menubar.app. Sooo anyone out there no where it's stored? suspiria
i don't care what anyone says, i love the new menubar Just four examples of how bad the Menu Bar translucency can be for usability. Seriously, this is a bad idea. That's one more, just to make matters worse. CPressland
I wish I could turn the menu bar transparency off, my wallpaper gets in the way of it as well. For more standard wallpapers it looks great, but for mine.... lol, not good. Also, less effects = lower CPU and GPU cycles = Higher performance and battery life... right?
