Vanishing point

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

For other uses, see Vanishing point (disambiguation).

A vanishing point is a point in a perspective drawing to which parallel lines appear to converge. The number and placement of the vanishing points determines which perspective technique is being used.

linear perspective is drawing with 1-3 vanishing points.

curvilinear perspective is drawing with 5 vanishing points mapped into a circle with 4 VPs at the cardinal headings N,W,S,E and one at the circle origin.

reverse perspective is drawing with vanishing points that are placed outside the painting with the illusion that they are "in front of" the painting.

Vanishing points were first used by Renaissance artists such as Donatello and Masaccio.

Vanishing points can also refer to the point in the distance where the two verges of a road appear to converge. This is often used to help assess the upcoming curves in the road; to judge the radius and therefore the entry speed and optimum line. If the vanishing point moves towards you or to your sides, the curve is tightening. If the vanishing point moves away from you or comes to centre, the curve is straightening.

hi. This is my first post obviously, and first game like this I've played. Everyone on here is really good at this stuff, I can't believe how fast the puzzles were answered. Anyhow, I've been thinking about a couple things that probably don't mean anything.

1) The total score possible for the game (without referrals) is 1300. Thats a really clean number total and for some reason I have a feeling thats going to mean something.

2) The "other" bug for some of the puzzles (that more than a few people got) stands out to me. Its weird how it shows up behind the popup on the main page and then is gone if you log off / log on.

ok well I won't waste your time anymore. If these things are nothing please don't kill me, it is my first time with this stuff!!

At the end of the video, after the vanishingpointgame.com website address appears, there are some words that flash on the screen. Could this be a clue?

It's the start of the Meta Puzzle. Use that the same way we did the earlier ones.

As for Aaron's e-mail, it was a mistake. We weren't supposed to get that. Those are just his title, work, and fax numbers. Ignore that stuff.

Although, there's one thing I need to take back. Originally, I said to ignore the weird white boxes that were showing up in the game. Apparently, I'm not as smart as I think I am. http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=17829

:o

i belive it says /on the run

The "/on the run" bit is where we are all at now.. this clue takes you to another webpage on the site where loki says to contact her hence everybody trying to think of an email address to contact her at, or some other clue based on the email she sends back when an email is sent to [email protected]

But it seems contacting isn't working very well..lol..I get bounce backs when I try to send to any of the addresses.

EDIT

I finally got something back from '[email protected]'

Hmmm. Not quite what I had in mind. Try harder - then listen closely.

...and now I've got the one from Aaron.

hmmm...wonder why I got failures the first time.

    • I bought this game. Played it for an hour, and then got a refund from Steam. Not a fun game at all.

    • Forza Horizon 6 gets another hotfix for one of the game's online modes by Taras Buria Recently, Forza Horizon 6 players discovered an interesting glitch that allowed farming a crazy amount of in-game credits in a few minutes. Playground Games quickly pulled the plug on the exploit by disabling one of the game's online modes, and today, the studio is rolling out another hotfix. In my review, I complained about the game still showering gamers with cars, credits, and wheelspins. As such, earning money in Forza Horizon 6 is not a particularly difficult task. You simply have to play the game, crazy, I know. However, people still found an easier path to becoming a billionaire in Forza Horizon 6. All you had to do was purchase the Hummer EV, install a specific tune, shift in reverse while going at about 15 MPH, hit a wall, and get launched into the stratosphere at the speed of light. While mid-air, launch Eliminator and quickly get eliminated. Boom, the game just awarded you with a few million in-game credits. Initially, Playground Games disabled Eliminator to prevent people from farming credits. Now, following the release of the first balancing update, developers are rolling out a new update that re-enables Eliminator and gives users a free McLaren Sabre as a gesture of goodwill. Here is the changelog: One critical issue remains unpatched, though. There are quite a few reports of the game wiping gamers' saves, and developers are still looking into that. To avoid potential data loss, Playground Games recommends taking one of the steps outlined in a previously published support article.
