I changed out my laptop for a desktop computer. Gave the laptop to my son so he can take it to school for his Cisco class and with him when he's on vacation.

system would look better on the floor under the desk methinks ;)

The only bad thing about the floor is they get kicked and marked up. Now if it had a little stand to raise it off the floor and a guard on the side to keep from kicking it them it would probably work out good down there.

Haha, whoops. I didn't even realize that Photobucket had changed the size. Thanks a lot for posting the original link though, I didn't remember where I had gotten' it.

No worries! :) I have to keep a huge DevArt folder collection to keep track of who made what... getting rather large these days. :pinch:

Nice, Antec P182.... and I can tell by that graphics card, Asus X1950 Pro? :p

Try running those cables BEHIND the motherboard tray. It really comes in handy.

Here's my pic with my old AMD Athlon 64 3000+ s754 based system shoved into a new Antec P182. The 9800 Pro needs a floppy power connector and I had no other choice with that one :p Otherwise this case is a stock cabler's dream

Some things are changed and optimized since I took that pic, but you get the idea :)

I would highly recommend one if you aren't into case windows :D

P182, a case that looks better without case windows!

I have to say, I am glad I got a silver P182 and not the darker shade - the silver looks a bit more futuristic I think or maybe it just suits my setup more with the nad amp and silver linings on monitor/bedstand etc :p

Antec are amazing, I emailed them about a broken dust filter and also a door latch and they posted me replacements for free within the week. Customer service like this makes me stick with the same brand all the time and it's why I stick with Logitech all the time for KB/mice now and Dell for monitors.

Indeed, Antec rock (Y) - https://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?auto...p;showentry=831

Radish?

I'm due for a new case here and those p182's look really nice. Maybe I'll get one.

The P182 looks really really goood :D..... Go for it, you will only be happy... like me :)

The P180 Black looked like some kind of cheap toy(font, sides looked like plastic)... I saw it in the store the other day :p

    • NVIDIA officially supports Ubuntu, as linked above with the GeForce NOW Hands on I did in collaboration with Paul Hill.
    • TO be clear I am not running linux today, however I keep thinking about it. And I want to make sure there are minimal obstacles if I decide to make that switch in the coming months.
    • Yes, I actually glossed over the Linux part from the OP. You could always go for a 9070 XT and if you really want to play Ray Traced games in the future, GeForce Now is pretty damn good on Linux https://www.neowin.net/news/nvidias-native-geforce-now-app-for-linux-bridges-the-gaming-gap-hands-on/
