Nero 8 is coming

According to amazon.co.uk will Nero 8 be released at the end of September.

Do you guys know what's been changed compared to Nero 7 and/or if there are some release notes already available for Nero 8?

Well Ill be looking foward to Nero 8 Lite/Micro, if and when Acheron or someone else makes it.

The site still lists PC-CD as a medium, but if the box is anything to go by, it would have to be pretty compressed to fit on there.

According to a user on another forum its has a entire new interface and menu. I only use Nero Burning Rom I've never found any use for the other programs...

Nero 5.5 was the best version of Nero ever. Too bad it doesn't support my DVD burner. Oh well....

I remember when Nero would fit on a floppy disk. What's it up to now, about a gigabyte? Everyone bashed Easy CD Creator back then for being bloatware, I guess we've come full circle.

i got pretty mad when i installed Nero7 and all of its bloat... anyone got lightweight but just-as-functional alternatives? :p

Nice, I like Nero 7, but too sometimes it goes a little slow.

at my comp specs, it took me like and hour to burn 300 to a disk, then frigging disk wus 17mbs to short wipes the whole thing...

nero blows a$$, i used to love it back in the day, but now it too much cr@p in it.

Nero 5.5 with the wizard was great...Nero 7 is ok but waaaay to bloated.

Try Nero Micro.

Same burning engine, just without the bloat.
