Is there a particular reason that Halo 3 doesn't have built-in clan support?

I don't think bungie said anything about clans/no clans yet. And if there wasn't a feature such as that, its probably because there is no need for two friends lists, since that is all a clan feature is, another friends list. Not to mention clans always cheated to get to the leader boards.

They have said no, for exactly the reason you stated.

They might integrate something to cover for it, but as of now there is no independent clan support.

God, I'm so excited to play Halo 3. It's less than 10 days away!

Yup! Can't wait either. :D

Hey I heard that you can modify a map by using a tool called Forge and save it, is this true?

Umm, you can not fully modify a map but you can add in barrels, boxes, move spawns, weapons, etc and save that for future use.

Was looking forward to this, had my pre-order in and everything...

Was playing COD4 beta yesterday, it frooze, restarted the Xbox and got the 3 red lights.........

Hopefully it will be a quick turn round, if not, I will have to play it round my friends house. What an awkward time for it to go wrong!
