Of course Ben worked for Dharma so he would of known all of the Islands stations so when the others took over the island again he knew where to hide but I honestly think he did not know the Swan existed.

Edit: Actually his dad had a swan badge on his overalls so he probably did but didn't know where it was.

Question, in Ben's Flashbacks, he had a Lover, a girl he liked. Even with photos of her in his room...

(I don't think that was the French woman.)

She is Dead?

Well thats the mystery she was around the whole time but we never saw her when Ben was older so she might of left the Island but I doubt that and she either died or left with Ben, there was a feature on the Season 3 dvd where there was extra scenes from the Purge.

Just looked up Lostpedia - Seems her story will definitely be further explored and major plot in Ben's life!

Annie is described as a character that is going to play a "huge part" in upcoming storylines: "Annie is going to prove to be very significant in Ben's life,"

Awesome read.

CARLTON: I don't think that's really true. I think what we thought was a bad thing was if we didn't get a chance to come back and complete the season. The concern was really that if they only aired 8 episodes and the strike went on for a long time and let's say there was another seven or eight months before we came back on the air, the season was going to feel very complete. The important thing is that the 5 hours of the show we have left to write are really going to allow us to end the season and sort of finish the season the way we wanted to. Some of the storylines are going to have to be pushed off into season five, some details about the freighter folk for instance, but we're going to get a chance to complete the season. Our concern was really just leaving the season open, not that we didn't like episode 8. I think we both feel like episode 8 is a pretty strong episode, and one that is kind of revelatory. Certain episodes are more revelatory about the mythology of the show, and it falls into that category.

So we still might not get anything on the four-toed statue this season.

WOW, SOME REALLY Interesting theories about who Annie is -

Annie is the young woman assisting "Edgar Halowax" in the Orchid orientation video.

She is Jacob's Daughter.

She is Charles Widmore's wife, and Penny's mother.

And my Favorite is "She is Kate"

"Annie" was the first shown alias of Kate, who used it to try to fool Ray Mullen in "Tabula Rasa". Kate's middle name was revealed to be Anne in "Eggtown".

http://www.lostpedia.com/wiki/Annie/Theories

This theory is the MOST likely one -

She got pregnant with Ben's baby and died which is why Ben is so obsessed with finding a cure, also adding onto the fact that he accidentally killed his mother by being born early in the woods. He feels that pregnancy has killed the 2 women he loved the most in his life, and also why he locked Karl up in order to prevent Alex from the same fate. Richard also pointed out to Locke that Ben is far more obsessive with finding a cure than the rest of the Others are.
Can't be Kate tho she might of not aged but the fact she was a kid when Ben was a kid and Bens like 40.

I know, It was just craziest theory that's what I meant! I DON'T agree it, but hey on Lost you never know, right?

Another Crazy one is She is Penny.

Annie" is the childhood name of Penelope Anne Widmore, or should I say Penelope Anne DeGroot. Daughter of Gerald DeGroot and Karen Widmore. Taken from the island by her concerned grandfather and raised as his daughter. Ben has never lost his obsession with Annie and is just another unwanted suitor in Charles Widmore's eyes. Ben pursues Annie (Penny) relentlessly whenever he leaves the island. Widmore is tired of Ben and wants the freighter team to retrieve him. On Find815.com, the letter found with instructions is from the Maxwell Group, a subsidiary of Widmore Industries.

Actually Annie had a ton of freckles as a kid, who else does as an adult? Kate

I know it isn't her, wouldn't make any sense considering the age difference, but still an interesting theory nevertheless.

Whomever it is, then they have to have freckles. That amount of freckles doesn't go away when you get older.

Happy St. Patrick's Day, Ausholes! Or, as my nana calls it, Amateur Night! Damn glad to meet you. I'm Mickey O'Connor, the new guy at TVGuide.com, and not, as it might sound, a leprechaun. I'm not as mean as Mike, and way more handsome. But I do want to thank "Mr. Ausiello" (as he requested I address him ? as if!) for carving out a little corner of his crazy-verse for me. Lost is my favorite TV show, and periodically I will barge in here with whatever theory, observation and/or scoop I might have about Team Darlton's baby. Bonus! If I'm busy writing Mike's columns for him, he can pick up his own "nutritional supplements." (Everyone knows what Propecia is for, Mike!)

Mike wants me to be known as Doc O'C when I write about Lost. To be honest, I'm not so sure about this idea. I think it's funny, a play on the names of the real Lost experts of the Internets ? Doc Arzt and EW's Doc Jensen. Plus, it rhymes (think of the Spider-Man villain). I suppose imitation being the sincerest form of flattery, we'll go with it for now ? unless you guys have a better idea. Mi identity es su identity. (Keep it clean.)

So let's get started: An upcoming, post-strike episode will feature the same male character at different ages, described as "sweet, shy, tentative and smart" at 5 and "angry, a little nerdy, defiant and rebellious" at 16. Also, said male character has green eyes, a fact you might not find significant, unless you were this guy. The same episode also features a redheaded teenaged girl who is "emotional, prone to dramatic gestures, and passionately in love." Who are we talking about here?

The easy answer is: Duh, it's Ben and Annie, his childhood pal. But! Conflicting intel says these characters appear in a Locke-centric episode, which is confusing. To me, Locke's backstory seems pretty much wrapped up, after having had Sawyer off his organ-stealing daddy. I can't imagine that we're going to whoosh back into mini-Locke's childhood angst at this juncture.

So I have three theories, in descending order of probability:

Theory No. 1: My mole is wrong and we'll finally see the love story of Ben and Annie. When we last saw Annie, she was shaping up to be Joey to Ben's Dawson. After all, The Island is nothing more than an ominous, creepy Capeside, right? Since Annie no longer seems to be alive and kicking and/or on The Island, we'll find out what happened to her. Did she die in The Purge? Did she catch the first submarine away from Ben the first time he mentioned that she belonged to him? Did she find her Pacey? Did she ? gasp! ? get pregnant?

Theory No. 2: Locke's next ep is an island-based flashback, in which we'll see Locke's followers travel to The Temple to join the in-hiding Others (what the heck is The Temple anyway?). It's there that we'll meet these spunky teens, who will be the subjects of rigorous testing (cough, brainwashing). Remember Carl being "tested" for his response to vivid imagery and proselytizing in the infamous Room 23? Kinda like that. As for the boy's 5-year-old self, I'm going with an acid-flashback-within-a-narrative-flashback.

Theory No. 3: I'm totally wrong and we'll see a tiny, bald Locke as a child. Which I would totally hate.

What do you think? Who are these people? Which theory would you like to see come true? Or, if you have one of your own, sock it to me!

For the spoiler readers!

Who will dies its narrowed down to 3!

CLAIRE

It has been foretold. Supposedly a person working for craft services catered a party for star Emilie Ravine shortly after her death scene was filmed. In the scene, Claire and Aaron are getting on the helicopter and Daniel pushes Claire out to her death.

MILES

No, it wasn?t the hand grenade, it was a play. Actor Ken Leung is apparently booked to perform in a play. Some people say that this was a classic case of double booking done to compensate for an anticipated lack of work during the strike. If that is true, Leung could have canceled this gig to honor his Lost contract?but THAT has not been confirmed.

KARL

Stop me if this sounds familiar: Actor Blake Bashoff has actually been performing in a play titled ?Spring Awakening.? Now, since LOST hasn?t been in production until recently, it could have, again, been a strike induced overlapping gig, and let?s face it? Karl isn?t a ?major? character (don?t tell Alex I said that).

    • Rufus 4.15.2391 Beta by Razvan Serea Rufus is a small utility that helps format and create bootable USB flash drives, such as USB keys/pendrives, memory sticks, etc. Despite its small size, Rufus provides everything you need! Oh, and Rufus is fast. For instance it's about twice as fast as UNetbootin, Universal USB Installer or Windows 7 USB download tool, on the creation of a Windows 7 USB installation drive from an ISO (with honorable mention to WiNToBootic for managing to keep up). It is also marginally faster on the creation of Linux bootable USBs from ISOs. A non-exhaustive list of Rufus supported ISOs is available here. It can be especially useful for cases where: you need to create USB installation media from bootable ISOs (Windows, Linux, UEFI, etc.) you need to work on a system that doesn't have an OS installed you need to flash a BIOS or other firmware from DOS you want to run a low-level utility Rufus 4.15.2391 Beta changelog: Improve the guards for using the "silent" option Improve the ability to cancel during write retries Fix unrestricted XML entity expansion and integer overflow in ezxml parser (courtesy of @esadowski4) [GHSA-55r2-34wg-8mv9] Fix "silent" Windows installation failing at 75% in most cases [#2960] Fix a crash during boot when using UEFI:NTFS on Snapdragon X based ARM64 platforms [#2934] Fix the first WUE option always being checked by default [#2965] Fix an infinite loop when using Windows ISOs that contain multiple WIMs Fix "Enable runtime UEFI media validation" checkbox not always being properly enabled Other WUE improvements/fixes for OneDrive removal and username validation (with thanks to @christian8641) [#2984, #2991] Download: Rufus 4.15 Beta | 1.9 MB (Open Source) Links: Rufus Home Page | Project Page @GitHub | Screenshot Get alerted to all of our Software updates on Twitter at @NeowinSoftware
    • Media Player Classic - Home Cinema 2.7.3 by Razvan Serea Media Player Classic - Home Cinema (MPC-HC) is a free and open-source video and audio player for Windows. MPC-HC is based on the original Guliverkli project (which is no longer maintained) and contains many additional features and bug fixes. As the continuation of the original Media Player Classic, MPC-HC isn’t flashy but it works with nearly any media format. MPC-HC uses DXVA technology to pass decoding operations to your modern video card, enhancing your viewing experience. And MPC-HC supports both physical and software DVDs with menus, chapter navigation, and subtitles. Overview of features A lot of people seem to be unaware of some of the awesome features that have been added to MPC-HC in the past years. Here is a list of useful options and features that everyone should know about: Dark interface Menu > View > Dark Theme When using dark theme it is also possible to change the height of the seekbar and size of the toolbar buttons. Options > Advanced Video preview on the seekbar Options > Tweaks > Show preview on seek bar Adjust playback speed Menu > Play > Playback rate The buttons in the player that control playback rate take a 2x step by default. This can be customized to smaller values (like 10%): Options > Playback > Speed step Adjusting playback speed works best with the internal audio renderer. This also has automatic pitch correction. Options > Playback > Output > Audio Renderer MPC-HC can remember playback position, so you can resume from that point later Options > Player > History You can quickly seek through a video with Ctrl + Mouse Scrollwheel. You can jump to next/previous file in a folder by pressing PageUp/PageDown. You can perform automatic actions at end of file. For example to go to next file or close player. Options > Playback > After Playback (permanent setting) Menu > Play > After Playback (for current file only) A-B repeat - You can loop a segment of a video. Press [ and ] to set start and stop markers. You can rotate/flip/mirror/stretch/zoom the video Menu > View > Pan&Scan This is also easily done with hotkeys (see below). There are lots of keyboard hotkeys and mouse actions to control the player. They can be customized as well. Options > Player > Keys Tip: there is a search box above the table. You can stream videos directly from Youtube and many other video websites You can stream videos directly from Youtube and many other video websites Put yt-dlp.exe or youtube-dl.exe in the MPC-HC installation folder. Then you can open website URLs in the player: Menu > File > Open File/URL You can even download those videos: Menu > File > Save a copy Tip: to be able to download in best quality with yt-dlp/youtube-dl, it is recommended to also put ffmpeg.exe in the MPC-HC folder. Several YDL configuration options are found here: Options > Advanced This includes an option to specify the location of the .exe in case you don't want to put it in MPC-HC folder. Play HDR video This requires using madVR or MPC Video Renderer. After installation these renderers can be selected here: Options > Playback > Output Ability to search for and download subtitles, either automatically or manually (press D): Options > Subtitles > Misc Besides all these (new) features, there have also been many bugfixes and internal improvements in the player in the past years that give better performance and stability. It also has updated internal codecs. • Microsoft will finally let you sign in to Edge with a Google account by Usama Jawad As things currently stand, Microsoft Edge only allows you to sign in to the browser with a Microsoft Account (MSA). This allows you to sync your browser settings and other data across other devices, as long as you sign in with the same account. However, Microsoft is now modifying this mechanism in a way that will likely please many users. In an update to its Microsoft 365 Roadmap, Microsoft has indicated that it will soon let users sign into Edge using a Google account from the profile menu and the Edge sign-in screen. This will be in addition to the MSA login option, and it opens up new doors for people who prefer using Edge, but cannot be bothered to configure a Microsoft account. This brings several advantages such as the ability to sync your data across devices using just a Google account. It may even facilitate flexible single sign-on (SSO) experiences where you can quickly login to websites and services through a single Google account that is presented as the preferred sign-in option. Up until now, Microsoft allowed customers to indirectly use a Google account, by configuring a Google account as a Microsoft account, or by setting up a one-way sync option between Edge and Chrome. This is a rather interesting development, especially considering that Google Chrome still limits you to a Google account sign-in, but it will be interesting to see if the company reciprocates Microsoft's gesture in the future. This is not the only recent instance in which Microsoft has extended a handshake to Google via Edge. In April 2026, it began tracking the development of a work search banner for Google Search queries, just like the one present in Edge. However, if we go back almost seven years, to January 2020, Microsoft had emphasized that it had no plans to "integrate Google services into Microsoft Edge by default", in response to people requesting Google sign-in services on Edge. Fast-forward to today, and Microsoft is planning to release this feature in July 2026, with IT admins having the option to control its availability on Windows and macOS through the NonMicrosoftAccountSignInEnabled policy.
