Pros: Excellent tech support- like 5 min replies - and useful ones at that, gives basic stats, Always fast and i've never had the website down - good VFM in general.

Problems: Only 1 FTP account on my setup, No PHPMyAdmin for DB stuff, Have a few probs everynow and again accessing the control panel - which is fairly limited if i'm honest- i'd prefer Cpanel - but for the price- its ok.

Overall: Mainly good- but a few downsides.

I've been rather upset with dreamhost recently, my site has been up and down like a yo-yo, but i'm sure none of it was their fault, I was on the verge of cancelling and today I got an email saying I'd get a refund for this month AND for the rest of my stay with them my hosting will be half price :o

I owned a very popular FTP searching site, but hosts don't accept me afer I lost my other one, because they say it is illegal because some ftp sites in my DB may contain illegal material, and people sometimes use it for that purpose, and another reason because there is lots of searches a day and I can't just sign up for any host, I need a hsot site with a good webmaster who will understand this...So I'm just looking for a host provider than will talk to me on MSN messenger, so we can work something out about this kinda site...ect... Some of you designers might find this package VERY useful...

First of all - a $65/signup referral program - sign up those businesses that you're doing websites for under your referrall account and give yourself a little tip.

I've been with them for about 3 months now..and just recently signed up another account for a hospital site I'm working on. 10 minutes after completing the sign up form, I get a call on my cell phone asking if I have any start-up questions...beat that service. He told me they were going to increase the space to 2GB and bandwidth to 65GB here in the next month or so...

The other feature that works great for designers is you get 20 Parked Domains, and 5 Add-On domains. Which means you get 5 clients for 1 account - and charge all 5 for hosting.

It truly is a deal I haven't found anyone to beat yet.

2GB, 65GB Transfer @ $6.95/month - includes a FREE domain name, and you can point 5 different domains to the one account and run 5 completely different websites.

Their service is incredible...in today's market with every 14 year old running a hosting business, service is definitely something you want to know you're going to be getting...you can be rest assured with BlueHost.

The only downside for some people may be the 10 MySQL Databases - I personally have never ran out, if you do you could always consolidate into 1 with many tables (theres never a max for tables).
