The 555 are really nice cans :)

How is the 555?... any big differences between 485 and 555?

I'm using the 485 right now and thinking of upgrading to the 555.

I Have the same modem and router :)

I noticed a big difference after listening to my 485 the other day after having the 555 for a few months.

Treble is much more detailed and bass is much more controlled and also detailed.

Alright finally I get to post some pictures of my Workstation.

Please critize as you please. Good, Bad, and Suggestions(if any).

Im gonna start up with a picture that shows my tv, basically you walk in the door on the left of my tv(door not shown) and then my room just starts from the tv and ends at the bed. * Following a square format. Everything is laid up against the wall. My whole center of the room is free. I have an L desk. So pictures are broken up on behalf of each section of my desk, then 1 whole picture to tie it up.

Hope you guys will critize or atleast reply. Would like some feedback on my room/workstation.

*Note: not showing off, just would like some critism.

I wish my desk was as clean as that.

Thanks bro. I actually am a Clean Neat Person. Like the stuff under my Right Side, it is a "mess to some people" but for me its organized. I have everything I need. THe stools are there as a foot rest for me at each side.

So yeah. My mother keeps bugging me about it. But my room has been like this since august, which is when we moved into this house.

Also, my friends have called me a "paranoid/obssesive" neat person becuase I have a table in my room to eat at lol. Im like, "if someone spills on my desk, they are paying for it" and then they go "well your right". So yeah. If your wondering, I have a table between my Right SIde of my desk and my Bed. Usually eat there then come back to computer.

Thanks for reply bro.

Cheers.

P.S. Only on Page 5, if you have posted your desktop, I havent seen it yet, but when I do ill be sure to reply.

How do you find the Noctua brand are they as good as they claim to be and do they move enough air I was thinking about getting some.

They are made in Austria. They sell them at CoolerGuys and FrozenCPU, in the US.

They are good as said, and quiet. The 800 rpm one pushes enough air.

    • I just started using Teams (and “New” Oiutlook) at work (instead of Slack) and both are truly abysmal pieces of software.
    • If you are willing to go to approx $200, then as mentioned in your other thread I think a refurbished Pixel 8 will be a great deal that will last you for years. I recently recommended that to someone at work, he was on a strict £200 budget, which got him an excellent conditioned refurbished Pixel 8 here. He's since told me its the best phone he's ever had and feels its a massive upgrade over his old Samsung A series device. I don't know the sites which deal in refurbished devices in the US, however I’m sure you will have some options like we do here. Failing that Ebay is also quite good in my experience. If you wanted something a bit cheaper, then you could maybe go for an older Pixel 7, these will still get security updates until the end of 2027. Even after that you have good third party OS support from LineageOS. It doesn't have to be a Pixel though, you can buy many older devices for a good deal that would be better than a new $100 phone and flash LineageOS to them: https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/
    • I don't use one drive, but then I don't use any cloud storage, not even Icloud on my mac. If I did use cloud storage, then I would not use One drive, not because there is anything wrong with it, but because I can use Icloud. The only reason I see to use one drive is if your job requires you to have access to it
    • Not built in, which is not a bad thing. There are ways of adding cloud storage to it, Dropbox is the most well know that also have a client for Linux, but there are others.
