Windows Vista Service Pack 1 RTM x86 leaked

Recommended Posts

Regarding the two sets of Vista SP1 standalone installers for both x86 and x64 identified by the following:

Digital Signature dated 19/01/08 (x86) and 20/01/2008 (x64)

x86: d597866e93bc8f80ecca234c4e9ce5a2

x64: 983308426e8ee7649f53b41f4e5c42d4

and

Digital Signature dated 01/02/08 (x86) and 01/02/2008 (x64)

x86: eeafd59069b0dbb489f7b9ca63dbc678

x64: e230f3dcd78e462dbf1dd538fc70ff2a

The contents of the SP1 installers for each architecture are identical except for the five "license_addendum_1.rtf" files.

All other files, including and most importantly the .cab files, are identical.

If you need to confirm for yourself, extract them and do a binary/MD5/SHA1 comparison of the extracted files for either the x86 versions or the x64 versions.

Again the actual code installed by either the earlier January 19/20 versions and the later February 01 versions is identical.

I thought SP-1 was already out. Then I'm a beta tester. So I already have it. :)

Vista SP-1 on updated hardware works great. BTW
