Ohh crap I had to change permissions on flickr and some of my pics changed URLs, here they go again (can't edit original post).

^ One of these was actually shot by my wife when I was explaining DoF to her :p credit where it's due.

^ what lens did you use for that picture? Although I am a bit more advanced than a complete noob I am still grasping what lens to employ for different conditions.

For that kind of shot, I would generally use my 70-300 IS (I have just that and my XTi kit lens) that would give "more" bokeh - which I like. Just curious.

Never posted my pictures on here before lol I love taking pictures, though sdly I'm stuck with a crappy camera. Might be a while before I can afford a good one. ( http://www.digitalcamerainfo.com/content/H...era-Review-.htm ). No lens, few settings, and can't take pictures at night (Very well). Anyways, here are a couple of pictures I took last week. The Goose was on the balcony next to my apartment, and the duck was in the backyard, taken from my balcony (second floor).

BTW, some very nice pictures here! I do plan on getting a better camera, so I can take pictures like you all do, but might be a while before I have an extra $500 kicking around lol Some truely amazing pictures.

I got my Nikon D50 to tether with Aperture 2 finally :)

:o What's the secret? I'm still having trouble doing mine where the capture button is dimmed.

On my D50 I went into Settings > USB > PTP instead of Mass Storage (SD card). That was all!

Lol they don't even list the D50 on the list :( And they called the two canon cameras the D30 and D60 :(
