UFC Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar spoke to ESPN.com this week and had some interesting things to say about his brush with death earlier this year, how UFC President Dana White compares to WWE boss Vince McMahon and whether he'd ever return to the wrestling promotion that put his name on the map.

Dana White vs. Vince McMahon: "If I had to say one thing about Vince [McMahon] it would be ruthless. If I had to say something about Dana [White] it would be diligent and somewhat brilliant. Two different approaches to business."

Guest Hosting WWE RAW: "I had a great run with WWE. WWE gave me great visibility, I met my wife there, and I got paid a lot of money, it was just my time to go. I sensed it. I was smart enough to leave. That's the bottom line... I wouldn't be opposed to [a one night only return to the WWE]. I'm still focused on my fighting right now, but if the opportunity arose some day, I'd never say never."

PWInsider.com is reporting that although WWE has announced that NXT will no longer air on SyFy when Smackdown joins the network this fall, it should be noted that the show/brand has been scrapped altogether. At this point, WWE has not yet decided to pull the plug on the NXT show and has in fact had preliminary discussions with Bravo about possibly airing the show on that network. Bravo, like USA and SyFy, is operated under the NBC umbrella. If all network negotiations fail, there is also the possibility that NXT could air on WWE.com.

WWE officials are reportedly looking to book golfer Tiger Woods to host the Jun. 7 Monday Night RAW taking place in Miami, Florida. However, few believe he will accept the offer.

The reports of WWE attempting to book Tiger Woods as guest host of RAW has garnered press amongst the golfing community as Golf Online published a story today concerning the reports.

Looks like tomorrow night's RAW is going to be heavily disrupted by the Ash Cloud of Doom over Europe (can I trademark that?) since most if not all RAW Superstars are currently in the UK I believe, and airspace is not expected to be opened up until tomorrow morning (around 6 AM EST I think) at the soonest.

According to some reports, Smackdown! stars may be on RAW (how's that for irony) with taped segments of RAW guys in UK studios etc.

WWE.com has announced that The Undertaker will appear live on tonight's Raw broadcast.

ProWrestling.net is reporting that the following Raw stars are still stuck in Belfast and will miss tonight's show: John Cena, Batista, Sheamus, Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase, The Miz, Big Show, Bret Hart, MVP, Mark Henry, Christian, Chavo Guerrero, Evan Bourne, Kofi Kingston, William Regal, Dos Caras Jr., Eve, Kelly Kelly and Maryse.

------------------------

but ... i wanna Bret Hart and Christian .... and Maryse, hubba hubba

We reported earlier that WWE issued a press release noting that Triple H will be starring in a new WWE Studios film titled "Killing Karma" which will begin shooting in the near future.

PWInsider.com is reporting that the lead role was initially supposed to go to Batista, however, WWE made the decision to replace him with Triple H. It's being said that when Batista learned that he was being replaced by HHH, he became furious over the news as acting is what he wants to focus his future on when he leaves wrestling.

"Batista wants to be a movie star," a source was noted as saying.

As we have reported in the past, Batista has been telling people that he does not intend to wrestle in WWE for too much longer, and that he might likely quit the business when his current deal expires. When this happens, he wants to focus mainly on acting.

--------

pfft, Batista, act? let's see, he's crap with a microphone, all he does is pound guys down and get hurt .... he'd make a good stunt man

As we reported earlier, tonight's Raw will feature the Smackdown and possibly NXT rosters appearing on the show as the Raw crew is still stranded in Belfast. The show is being broadcast live from East Rutherford, NJ and will be guest hosted by Will Forte, Kristen Wiig and Ryan Phillipe who will be appearing in the upcoming film "Macgruber."

As always, WrestleZone will be providing complete, LIVE coverage of Raw beginning tonight at 9pm EST. So be sure to join us then for the most detailed and fastest Raw coverage on the internet!

NXT on Raw? ... Daniel Bryan vs. Undertaker ?!?

Due to the flight restrictions barring the Raw crew from flying into the states for tonight's show, WWE.com has announced on its webpage that tonight, "Smackdown Invaded Raw!" Because Triple H was NOT booked to appear on the European tour due to nagging injuries, he will be the only Raw star present at the tapings tonight. You can CLICK HERE for more details

i will watch Impact (only cause I watched the PPV last night and want to see RVD vs. Jeff Hardy) download Raw later tonight

This segment right here was enough to compensate for the rest of the show.

Could someone post a YouTube link to it, please? :)

Also, the guy on the left looks a lot like Stone Cold Steve Austin! :p

Jericho was hysterical in that segment, especially with MacGruber lol

I thought Jericho was gonna be MIA because of Jury duty? lulz

That Undertaker/Swagger match was great btw. - EDIT But that's two weeks in a ROW that Swagger, the NEW WHC has lost cleanly on RAW (Orton now Taker). What the HELL creative? I mean, seriously?

OK, just watched the Jericho segment. Not funny at all. :(

Really cool to see Lillian again last night! Just not the same without her doing the announcing!

Yeah, Lillian was a good announcer, but no one is better than Howard Finkel!

i can't agree with you more on that ... but Lillian is still a terrific announcer

Punk looks like an Arab!

oh, I know you didn't just go there

According to a high level source within TNA, Jim Ross has had a meeting with TNA officials concerning the possibility of signing with the company.

I was informed that within the past week or so, Ross met with both TNA President Dixie Carter and Dean Broadhead, the CFO of TNA, and the two sides discussed the possibility of Jim Ross signing with TNA. I was told TNA has interest in bringing JR into the company as they are still in the process of trying to "shake things up" on TV.

It should be noted that this was just a meeting, and should not be taken to mean that Ross has signed, or is going to sign with TNA.

Currently, JR is still under contract with WWE, but the deal expires on April 30th.

WWE.com is reporting that the company is offering full refunds to fans who attended Raw tonight. For those who may have been dissatisfied with the fact that the Raw roster did not appear on the show, they have until this Friday at noon to claim their ticket refund.

After Raw went off the air last night, Triple H called out The Undertaker and challenged him to a match, saying there wasn't enough room for both of them on Raw. The two wrestled a short match until the Smackdown crew came out to attack both HHH and Undertaker. Both guys took out the Smackdown crew and Triple H hit his pedigree on all the guys and even the ref. He then turned around into a tombstone pile driver from Undertaker to end the show.

Also, on a funny note, maybe you couldn't tell on TV, but from the stands you could clearly see R-Truth exit the entrance ramp when the Macgruber explosion took place.

Well at least Shelton can go to TNA now (like some of his buds have been literally begging him to do lol) and do something there.

Bad part: no more Gold Standard in MitB matches :(

just reading Angle wants Team Angle back (Haas and Benjamin) so now that can happen.

    • My issue is I can't access the forum on mobile if the site is set to Desktop mode on Vivaldi because it can't complete the Cloud flare am I a bot check! I know this is a Vivaldi issues as it has started happening on all cloud flare check sites, it's so annoying, I've reported it but no fix yet.
    • Are you going to do performance benchmarks comparing all states? I'd be interested in seeing that in the next "part".
    • My father still uses a programme written in dbase3. Still manages to work with a little help from dosbox.
    • Microsoft hides these secret Windows 11 performance boost settings available on every PC by Sayan Sen Windows enthusiasts often look for ways to extract as much performance out of their systems as possible, and it's often the case that they try and do so while trying to minimize the heat and power consumption. This is especially relevant in the case of mobile Windows PCs since laptops and notebooks tend to get hot and management of that heat and power is harder in such a form factor. As such users often turn to techniques like under-volting which can be used to squeeze out the maximum capabilities of a chip while also maintaining lowered power levels. There are official apps from AMD and Intel with the likes of Ryzen Master and XTU (Extreme Tuning Utility). While these are quite handy, most enthusiasts probably prefer to dig into the BIOS and play around with settings there like Curve Optimizer on Ryzen, which lets users set various frequency-voltage scaling values. These are essentially called P-States. If you are not familiar with them, Processor Power Management is done through Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) P-states and C-states. While P-states or performance pwoer states handle CPU voltage-frequency scaling, C-states deal with CPU sleep states so that some of the CPU functions, which are not necessary at that moment, can be disabled. The P-states and C-states work together to make the processor run more efficiently. It helps the OS and apps determine which cores can be parked and which should be boosted. Of course not every user is an enthusiast or knows the technicalities and integrities of how things like overclocking or undervolting work. Thankfully for them Windows itself offers something pretty cool, though it is hidden by default on all systems. By default, Windows only has two P-States, "Minimum Processor State" and "Maximum Processor State." However, this can be changed with a Registry trick to expand the options under a secret "Processor performance boost mode" dropdown. This essentially enables the HWP or hardware P-States available on a device, and these are not controlled just by the OS itself as the underlying hardware gets involved too. In total there are five Processor Performance Boost Mode profiles that control how Windows requests and allows CPU turbo/boost behavior under the different power policies. They are: Disabled: In this mode, processor boosting is effectively turned off. The CPU will avoid entering turbo or boost frequencies and instead operate closer to its base frequency ceiling. This can significantly reduce power consumption and heat output, but at the cost of reduced burst performance and responsiveness in short workloads. Enabled: This is the standard behavior where boost functionality is allowed under normal conditions. The processor can opportunistically increase frequency when workload demands it, balancing performance gains with power and thermal constraints as managed by the system. Aggressive: Aggressive mode favors performance more heavily, allowing the CPU to enter higher boost states more readily and sustain them longer. This should in theory improve responsiveness under bursty or heavy workloads but increases power draw and thermal output compared to the default enabled behavior. Efficient Enabled: This mode still allows boosting, but with a stronger bias toward energy efficiency. The system attempts to use boost more selectively, avoiding unnecessary frequency spikes when the performance gain is marginal. Efficient Aggressive: This is a hybrid approach where boost is still performance-responsive, but the system continuously weighs efficiency more heavily than in Aggressive mode. It aims to deliver noticeable performance improvements while reducing wasted power in less demanding scenarios. Here's how to enable the Processor performance boost mode: Open Registry Editor: Press Win+R, type regedit, and click OK. Go to: HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\54533251-82be-4824-96c1-47b60b740d00\be337238-0d82-4146-a960-4f3749d470c7 (where HKLM stands for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE_) Modify the value of Attributes from 1 to 2 (you can find modify option by right-clicking) After that, exit Registry, you should now be able to see the new "Processor performance boost mode" dropdown menu: As you can see there are now five new P-States or CPPC states or power profile available that help define the boost mode processor setting on your PC. Wrapping it up here's a quick run-down of the settings as defined by Microsoft itself. Setting Description Disabled The corresponding P-state-based behaviour is disabled. Collaborative Processor Performance Control (CPPC) behaviour is disabled. Enabled The corresponding P-state-based behaviour is enabled. CPPC behaviour is Efficient Enabled. Aggressive The corresponding P-state-based behaviour is enabled. CPPC behaviour is Aggressive. Efficient Enabled The corresponding P-state-based behaviour is Efficient. CPPC behaviour is Efficient Enabled. Efficient Aggressive The corresponding P-state-based behaviour is Efficient. CPPC behaviour is Aggressive. Aggressive At Guaranteed Windows calculates the desired extra performance above the guaranteed performance level, and asks the processor to deliver that specific performance level. Efficient Aggressive At Guaranteed Windows always asks the processor to deliver the highest possible performance above the guaranteed performance level. In the next part we shall be comparing these settings to explore how much of a benefit or regression they can provide in terms of performance and power efficiency. If you decide to change the values on your system and are experiencing problems like crashes or an overheating PC, make sure to revert the steps back to the original state.
