just reading Angle wants Team Angle back (Haas and Benjamin) so now that can happen.

Yes please :jump:

Can't believe Mickie James got released though. I thought she'd be there for a while still. I mean she's the top diva surely?

WWE has also released Mike Knox as of this morning (they did so sometime last night I believe).

Also at the Extreme Rules PPV, JTG vs. Shad (Cryme Tyme) in a Strap Match.

WWE released seven wrestlers yesterday, and there could be more. Matt Hardy made the following comments on his Twitter, which considering the releases, are very interesting?

"After 13 title reigns during my WWE career, I've more than exceeded what anyone ever expected from me-& I'm optimistic there's more to come."

"But I truly feel that I'll actually have more to offer to the industry with my mind than I could physically with my body in the long run..

"I have alot of projects going on currently.. But I love pro wrestling & it will always be in my blood. Always. It's given me a great life."

"You guys give me the motivation to push on with or without the help of the "machine".. I pride myself on being the "Self-Made Superstar"

It's no secret that Shannon Moore, Jeff Hardy, and others have been trying to get Matt to leave WWE for TNA for quite some time now. It should also be noted that it's two completely different atmospheres backstage. Many people in TNA are happy to go to work (likely due to the lesser travel schedule and the fact that Dixie Carter runs things in a 'mellow' way) while people within WWE are fed up and have been for a long time now.

Yeah but while Jeff will get a nice big push (and a world title run I'm sure) in TNA, Matt won't. Well, maybe if he actually went to TNA. But I doubt it. At least he isn't as screwed up as Jeff is (drug wise I mean) etc

it was kinda sad watching Smackdown, as the Beth Phoenix/Mickie James vs. Michelle/Layla was still shown.

womens wrestling in the WWE really is dying fast, let's hope Mickie shows up in TNA. at least the women their have /talent/ and don't just ###### off in bra and panties*

*exceptions to this now are WWE's Beth Phoenix, Natalya Neidhart and Maryse

The word making the rounds in Baltimore, where the WWE crew has arrived for tonight's Extreme Rules pay-per-view, is that Batista is finishing up with the company this week.

Batista had been talking about leaving as early as January, and as was recently reported he was displeased with Triple H taking the lead role in the film Killing Karma, which was originally slated for Batista. The feeling is that this decision was made because Batista's contract was ending and WWE did not want to risk having him in a film while not under contract.

He's challenging John Cena in what may ultimately be his final match inside a WWE ring. We'll have more shortly.

hahaha .. it sure sounded like Chris Jericho was crying

oh, and for that KFC commercial earlier on ... was that really necessary?

having a ppv "brought to you by" is complete bull****. Vince [McMahon] and co can do an pay-per-view without outside advertising, but to show an entire commercial during the, in my opinion, overpriced $45 pay-per-view was uncalled for.

yea, i bought WWE Extreme Rules. I also bought TNA Lockdown last week. because i can afford to. deal with it. although, it's not often i actually buy a PPV and very-rare I will buy a wrestling PPV in high-definition. UFC is another story

end note.

TNA Lockdown was worth the $35 I paid for it, I would have paid the extra $10 for HD just for the Angle/Anderson match

WWE Extreme Rules has not been worth the $45. but it is better than WWE Raw in the mindset that X Rules actually has more than 2 matches on the card.

TNA is winning in my books, Lockdown was better than both Extreme Rules and WrestleMania (minus Bret Hart beating up McMahon)

Worst PPV ever. The ending was such a cheap gimmick finish that made me want to not watch WWE anymore.

TNA has the upper hand once again.

BTW: 0 Blood through out an entire PPV entitled "EXTREME RULES" is bull... WWE has lost their minds.

i have seen worse PPVs ... WWF Over The Edge 1999 in which Owen Hart fell to his death and the event was not ended at that point. most likely cause Vince didn't want to lose any money

as for the blood, WWE is PG for all televised events, including pay-per-view. would you really want to see "trainers" running out to clean the performers up from a tiny cut

Is it the draft tonight? Here's what i expect to happen: anyone on SD who is remotely over gets moved to Raw, people who haven't appeared on Raw in a long time go to SD. Oh and also, let's break up a few tag team because there's so many of them
