Rappy Veteran Posted April 13, 2010 Veteran Share Posted April 13, 2010 UFC Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar spoke to ESPN.com this week and had some interesting things to say about his brush with death earlier this year, how UFC President Dana White compares to WWE boss Vince McMahon and whether he'd ever return to the wrestling promotion that put his name on the map. Dana White vs. Vince McMahon: "If I had to say one thing about Vince [McMahon] it would be ruthless. If I had to say something about Dana [White] it would be diligent and somewhat brilliant. Two different approaches to business." Guest Hosting WWE RAW: "I had a great run with WWE. WWE gave me great visibility, I met my wife there, and I got paid a lot of money, it was just my time to go. I sensed it. I was smart enough to leave. That's the bottom line... I wouldn't be opposed to [a one night only return to the WWE]. I'm still focused on my fighting right now, but if the opportunity arose some day, I'd never say never."
Rappy Veteran Posted April 14, 2010 Veteran Share Posted April 14, 2010 WWE RAW - 3.2 cable rating. The show did hours of 3.0 and 3.4. TNA iMPACT - 0.8 cable rating.
LOC Veteran Posted April 14, 2010 Veteran Share Posted April 14, 2010 PWInsider.com is reporting that although WWE has announced that NXT will no longer air on SyFy when Smackdown joins the network this fall, it should be noted that the show/brand has been scrapped altogether. At this point, WWE has not yet decided to pull the plug on the NXT show and has in fact had preliminary discussions with Bravo about possibly airing the show on that network. Bravo, like USA and SyFy, is operated under the NBC umbrella. If all network negotiations fail, there is also the possibility that NXT could air on WWE.com. Rappy Veteran Posted April 17, 2010 Veteran Share Posted April 17, 2010 WWE officials are reportedly looking to book golfer Tiger Woods to host the Jun. 7 Monday Night RAW taking place in Miami, Florida. However, few believe he will accept the offer. The reports of WWE attempting to book Tiger Woods as guest host of RAW has garnered press amongst the golfing community as Golf Online published a story today concerning the reports. LOC Veteran Posted April 19, 2010 Veteran Share Posted April 19, 2010 Looks like tomorrow night's RAW is going to be heavily disrupted by the Ash Cloud of Doom over Europe (can I trademark that?) since most if not all RAW Superstars are currently in the UK I believe, and airspace is not expected to be opened up until tomorrow morning (around 6 AM EST I think) at the soonest. According to some reports, Smackdown! stars may be on RAW (how's that for irony) with taped segments of RAW guys in UK studios etc.
timster
WWE.com has announced that The Undertaker will appear live on tonight's Raw broadcast. ProWrestling.net is reporting that the following Raw stars are still stuck in Belfast and will miss tonight's show: John Cena, Batista, Sheamus, Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase, The Miz, Big Show, Bret Hart, MVP, Mark Henry, Christian, Chavo Guerrero, Evan Bourne, Kofi Kingston, William Regal, Dos Caras Jr., Eve, Kelly Kelly and Maryse. ------------------------ but ... i wanna Bret Hart and Christian .... and Maryse, hubba hubba  We reported earlier that WWE issued a press release noting that Triple H will be starring in a new WWE Studios film titled "Killing Karma" which will begin shooting in the near future. PWInsider.com is reporting that the lead role was initially supposed to go to Batista, however, WWE made the decision to replace him with Triple H. It's being said that when Batista learned that he was being replaced by HHH, he became furious over the news as acting is what he wants to focus his future on when he leaves wrestling. "Batista wants to be a movie star," a source was noted as saying. As we have reported in the past, Batista has been telling people that he does not intend to wrestle in WWE for too much longer, and that he might likely quit the business when his current deal expires. When this happens, he wants to focus mainly on acting. -------- pfft, Batista, act? let's see, he's crap with a microphone, all he does is pound guys down and get hurt .... he'd make a good stunt man As we reported earlier, tonight's Raw will feature the Smackdown and possibly NXT rosters appearing on the show as the Raw crew is still stranded in Belfast. The show is being broadcast live from East Rutherford, NJ and will be guest hosted by Will Forte, Kristen Wiig and Ryan Phillipe who will be appearing in the upcoming film "Macgruber." timster
According to a high level source within TNA, Jim Ross has had a meeting with TNA officials concerning the possibility of signing with the company. I was informed that within the past week or so, Ross met with both TNA President Dixie Carter and Dean Broadhead, the CFO of TNA, and the two sides discussed the possibility of Jim Ross signing with TNA. I was told TNA has interest in bringing JR into the company as they are still in the process of trying to "shake things up" on TV. It should be noted that this was just a meeting, and should not be taken to mean that Ross has signed, or is going to sign with TNA. Currently, JR is still under contract with WWE, but the deal expires on April 30th. WWE.com is reporting that the company is offering full refunds to fans who attended Raw tonight. For those who may have been dissatisfied with the fact that the Raw roster did not appear on the show, they have until this Friday at noon to claim their ticket refund. After Raw went off the air last night, Triple H called out The Undertaker and challenged him to a match, saying there wasn't enough room for both of them on Raw. The two wrestled a short match until the Smackdown crew came out to attack both HHH and Undertaker. Both guys took out the Smackdown crew and Triple H hit his pedigree on all the guys and even the ref. He then turned around into a tombstone pile driver from Undertaker to end the show. Also, on a funny note, maybe you couldn't tell on TV, but from the stands you could clearly see R-Truth exit the entrance ramp when the Macgruber explosion took place.
