To continue adding fuel to the fire, several readers have emailed in regarding recent comments Jim Ross has made about retirement from WWE. The latest statements were just last week at a Q&A event in Scotland, where J.R. told fans he had no plans to retire, and wanted to continue his work in developmental.

Furthermore, Ross said that he would "never" retire and always be there when WWE needed him. He added that the day he retired is the day they would bury him.

There are many who feel the "Jim Ross retirement" angle is simply a way WWE can spin it to the media. This would certainly add credence to that theory.

WrestleZone has exclusively learned that WWE very quietly informed several talents, including Zeb Colter and Vickie Guerrero, that all "non-essential" personnel will soon be left off the live events.

The decision was made as a cost-cutting measure, as WWE has done away with the so-called "B" towns and is now running larger arenas, with more cost, during a time when top star John Cena is on the shelf for several months. The upcoming cost-cutting measure apparently does not apply to Paul Heyman or Brad Maddox, who are both considered "vital" (according to our source in the WWE office) to current storylines. Maddox has been the representative of the new regime at the shows, and Heyman (who works a limited live event schedule) is the focal heel in his stable's feud with CM Punk.

It is unknown when Guerrero and Colter will be pulled from the live events, although Colter did not appear on last weekend's live events and may already be off the live events as of this report.
ImpactWrestling.com has posted the following update on Mr. Anderson after Impact Wrestling last night:

"On Thursday at the "No Surrender" IMPACT special, Aces and Eights President Bully Ray successfully defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Mr. Anderson in a violent and chaotic bout. Anderson refused to give up ? and took a major beating from Bully Ray. Bully Ray battered and bloodied Anderson, eventually putting him through a table and winning the bout via countout. Bully Ray continued the assault after the match, dumping Anderson off a medical stretcher on the entrance ramp and annihilating him with a piledriver on the steel structure.

ImpactWrestling.com has learned that in addition to several lacerations to his head and body, Anderson suffered a possible concussion and was being examined for damage to his neck from the piledriver. Anderson will be evaluated tonight by doctors at a local St. Louis hospital, and we hope to have an update on his condition on Friday."

Anderson's contract with TNA is rumored to be expiring soon, so last night's beat down angle was possibly a way to write him off TV until he signs a new deal, or he might be finishing up with the company.

*snipped*

Had a feeling you'd pick up on that one.  :shifty: That was a pretty good match though; if Mr. Anderson really is leaving TNA, then he went out in style...

    • low latency mode is still bugged and causing bootup times slow to a crawl. To fix, you have to disable the feature with vivetool. Seems as though it's not rolled out to a lot of people yet since I've only been able to find only a handful of people that are having issues.
    • I would recommend the Nothing 2a. The battery life is awesome, 2 or 3 days without going into battery power mode. The only thing that I've been looking into recently is that it doesn't "support" Graphene OS. I'm pretty sure there is a way, I just need to do some more looking.
    • You'd have to show me an example of a listing that says Gen 1, usually i'd expect that to mean Snapdragon Gen 1 (a type of chipset, which the Pixels don't use). Pixel 7 - White - 128gb - Unlocked - 85%+ battery - Grade B+ - $159 with free delivery - https://www.ebay.com/itm/398046617206 Pixel 7 - Obsidian - 128gb - Unlocked - 80%+ battery - Very Good - $157 with free delivery - https://www.ebay.com/itm/355617734563 Both look to be sold by companies with good feedback, dealing with refurbished phones and state the phones are unlocked with a clean IMEI. Obviously I can't vouch for either company though, but the listings look good in my opinion.
    • Because Chrome is doing it. And no one said anyone had to update immediately. That's silly. They could update every day for all I care as long as it's fast, and the next time the browser restarts, you're good. And the basic point is not to tee it up for bigger updates. As it is right now, all the windows I had open reopen anyway except inprivate.
    • Why? Does anybody actually want this? The constant need to close all browser sessions and wait for a new version to install, just so that there’s a integrated coupon manager feels like a waste of everyone’s time
