WWE.com has learned that Roman Reigns has undergone emergency surgery for an incarcerated hernia. Reigns had been in Nashville to promote tomorrow's Night of Champions pay-per-view. His recovery time will be evaluated by the local surgeon and WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann, but he will be unable to compete against Seth Rollins tomorrow night. Check back with WWE.com for further updates on Reigns' condition.

dammit, MightyJordan, :) you beat me to it XD,

aren't you watching sky? :p

Yes, Sky Sports F1. :P Doesn't mean I can't multitask though, especially when I've got two big-ish screens in my room. ;)

WWE.com has spoken with WWE physican Dr. Chris Amann to get the latest.

"I was in contact with both Roman and the surgeon who performed the operation in Nashville today. Roman had developed acute abdominal pain in his hotel room last night after his match," Dr. Amann told WWE.com. "This wasn't related to a specific injury that occurred in the ring. Roman has had a pre-existing hernia for some time, which unfortunately had become acutely painful, which led to him going to the emergency room in Nashville. He was found to have a large hernia that was unable to be reduced, which means pushed back into the abdominal cavity. As a result, it was necessary to perform an emergent operation to open up the hernia sac and try and push it back into the abdominal cavity."

"At the time of the surgery, surgeons found a loop of small intestine was caught in the hernia sac, which would account for the pain and discomfort that Roman was having earlier in the evening," Dr. Amann explained. "The surgeons released the hernia sac so the intestine could be pushed back into the abdominal cavity. Once they were satisfied blood supply had returned to the intestine after releasing the hernia, they went ahead and completed the procedure. A mesh was placed over where the hernia had occurred to prevent future occurrences."

Now that the surgery has gone well, the clear next thought was when will the WWE Universe be able to see the powerhouse back in action.

"Roman has been transferred to the recovery room and is doing quite well. The plan is to keep him overnight, give him IV antibiotics to prevent infection and make sure the intestinal function returns to normal before discharging him from the hospital. If everything goes well, that should be tomorrow," Dr. Amann said. "Most of the time, the recovery time for something like this in terms of returning to physical activity is between four and six weeks. This was a pretty significant hernia, so it will probably be closer to six weeks."

WWE.com also asked Dr. Amann to elaborate on how this hernia differs from sports hernias, which sports fans know often lands top athletes on the injured list.

"This is a completely different type of hernia than sports hernia," Dr. Amann said. "A sports hernia usually refers to a tear in the lower abdominal wall that attaches to the ligaments. That type of tear is typically occurs from repeated activity or sports. Roman had what?s called an inguinal hernia. It can sometimes come from sports, but sometimes people are born with these. It is treated differently than a sports hernia."

Sometimes Id wish things were in the old days with no internet spoilers like this...Reactions would be huge.

Imagine if we had the spoiler that Hogan was going to join the NWO before it happened.

Sting on RAW eh? That'll be cool

I don't think Sting will be on RAW unless he's just there to introduce the gameplay footage reveal.

Predictions!

Chris Jericho vs. Randy OrtonJericho's back on tour with Fozzy, so expect him to get written off tonight.

WWE Tag Team Championship: The Usos © vs. The Dust Brothers Methinks it's time for the titles to change hands...

Mark Henry vs. Rusev -

 That is all.

WWE Divas Championship: Paige © vs. AJ Lee vs. Nikki Bella - Filler match in the storyline before it probably turns into what the dirtsheets are fantasising over. Speaking of which...

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Dolph Ziggler © vs. The Miz - Alternatively, R-Ziggler vs. Damien Mizdow.

WWE United States Championship: Sheamus © vs. Cesaro -

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Brock Lesnar © vs. John Cena -

Bonus match!

Roman Reigns Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins - I'm firmly behind that prediction.

    • Euro-Office must default to ODF to be considered "genuinely European", LibreOffice argues by David Uzondu Euro-Office is a web-based collaborative office suite that positions itself as a "European sovereign alternative" to American tech companies, backed by a coalition of developers including Nextcloud, IONOS, Abilian, BTactic, OpenProject, and, more recently, Tuta. The project officially went live a couple of days ago, but not before drawing heavy fire from LibreOffice developers, who called the marketing claim that Euro-Office represents the "first open-source office suite developed in Europe" a deceptive historical inaccuracy because projects like OpenOffice and LibreOffice existed decades earlier. Now that the project has launched, LibreOffice is back with another complaint, arguing that Euro-Office cannot consider itself "genuinely European" while it pushes proprietary Microsoft defaults on users. Euro-Office had promised to improve the OpenDocument Format (ODF) back in April, but the current release still plagues users with several technical failures. For instance, the suite lacks an admin setting to enforce ODF, and mobile editors completely block ODF saves, forcing files into Microsoft's OOXML formats. Some configurations force files into read-only mode, while editing frequently corrupts document formatting or erases data. LibreOffice thinks that merely supporting a format as an afterthought does not make you a sovereign alternative, as file formats are the battleground where" digital sovereignty is won or lost." The road to the first stable release of Euro-Office has been quite bumpy due to an aggressive public fallout with OnlyOffice, from which the coalition originally forked the project. OnlyOffice struck back by accusing the coalition of violating copyright terms under its AGPLv3 branding requirements by stripping the original branding anyway and forking the code. Getting Euro-Office up and running is a bit wonky (at least for non-technical users), as there is no direct installer to grab off the web. The easiest way we learnt is by using Docker. First, pull the official Euro-Office image from the GitHub Container Registry: docker pull ghcr.io/euro-office/documentserver:latest Then, run the container with active ports and a secure JWT token, enabling the test environment: docker run -i -t -d -p 8080:80 --restart=always -e EXAMPLE_ENABLED=true -e JWT_SECRET=my_secure_jwt_secret ghcr.io/euro-office/documentserver:latest And finally, open a web browser and go to the following address: http://localhost:8080 If you are running this on a remote server, replace localhost with your server's IP address. You will see the Euro-Office test page, where you can create new text documents, spreadsheets, or presentations directly in the browser. Image via Euro-Office Nextcloud promises that proper standalone desktop versions and mobile apps will arrive in a future release.
