Anyone care to elaborate what happened? I have don't have a feed of the race! :(

3 laps to go: Hamilton 5th Vettel 6th

Vettle overtake Hamilton so he loses the championship.

Glock is 4th with dry tires with a wet track.

With two corners to go, Glock tires can't handle the rain and Vettle and Hamilton overtake him. And Hamilton wins by 1 point the championship

i dont really follow F1 passionately, so i dont have any allegiances. it just seemed sus.

but, if trulli posted similar times then i suppose it could be legit...

what?! you dont follow something and then say something you have no idea about is suspect?

Hamilton is not the best driver in the world, the race was gifted to him by Glock, Massa deserves to have won that. I really hate how ITV dress Hamilton up as an 'amazing' driver, when the amount of mistakes he is made is the only thing that is amazing. Anyone remember the McLaren cheating stuff?

it wasnt that i have no knowledge of the sport, i just havent pledged allegiances to any drivers in the recent years. it was in reply to you calling me a sore loser. that was the point i was making... maybe read what i wrote next time.

plus, i wasn't the only one. none of the commentators offered any instant explanation, and it was so out of the blue.

maybe the fact that it was so out of the blue is whats throwing me. i accept now that it is most likely legit.

Woo, what an exciting race, glad Hamilton is winner (Y)

McLaren knew Glock was slowing down as the cars have GPS as well so can track on that as well. He also had dry tyres meaning he had no grip which meant Hamilton could overtake. This isn't a setup!

Anyway, great race :)

the only reason glock was ahead was because he was on dry tyres and didnt pit, the same reason he sucked on the last lap (as did trulli) so it wasnt really gifted to him. i think massa made more mistakes at silverstone than lewis has done in most of the season!

i can't resist:

What about when Hamilton crashed in the pits at Montreal, he's just plain dangerous.

3 points. 1: massa driving with a fuel hose down the pit lane. 2: massa almost hitting sutil. 3: massa hitting lewis. ;)

And Massa driving down the pit lane with a fuel line still attached isn't?

Wasn't Massa's fault though was it, think you'll find that's

Ferraris dodgy light system.

Great race, and a spectacular finish to a great F1 reason! Hamilton deserved the championship, and it was great to see him keep his composure in the race. It was his patience at the end that paid off.

I'm interested to see what Hamilton has to say on the race and the season. Will there be a press conference or something like that?
