^Read the notes on the first page :) I will make a logon screen when all the main styles are done. Same counts for the shellstyles. Both will be an add-on to the theme. I didn't make shellstyles yet simply because they "break" the theme.

@BlueFox: Thank you! :D

@mitchmalibu: That's nice to hear :)

awesome lookin theme, one of the better i've seen :) one thing though. i'm one those weirdos who have the taskbar placed at the upper edge of the screen. now might be just me, but don't the lower gradiant on the start menu looks a little out of place then? i can see why it's there though since it fits perfectly when you have the taskbar at the bottom of the screen. i see most other themes use the "inverse-color-method" of handling this. like if the taskbar has a darker gradiant on top, the start menu has a lighter one on the bottom, and vice versa. this theme has a light gradiant on both ends. dunno if this makes any sense, my english is a little rusty :p

^If it's weird for you while having the taskbar at the top then it's probably weird while having it at the bottom as well. It looks fine to me both ways though.. I just added the bottom part because it looks to flat without it.

well, it does look fine, it's just something that striked me when i first used it :) but i see the need for it. definately my new favorite theme. excellent work :cool:

Sorry guys, I've scrapped my work on the WindowBlinds port. I guess I'm a little too inexperienced with it, and just couldn't get it to work. :unsure: Hopefully someone who knows what they're doing can do a good job with it, though.

Oh, and I've reverted back to my XP setup, and using this theme now. I love it!

It's the very first skin that I made by myself from the start. I got stuck at some points where he helped me out :p We're kinda helping each other out which you'll see in LE7.

:D so LE7 is already in the works? when can we expect LE6?

If that was a typo, don't mind me. Carry on.

@skelly831: The 7 wasn't a typo :p I can't talk about it more since it's not my visual style. If there's news about it that everyone should know then em3 will post it.

Oh look, there's a Radish? in my threa:p:p

First of all, great thanks for this visual style! Watercolor has always been my all-time-favorite. Looking very much forward to the ergonomic style :woot:

Like any 3rd party visual style, the minimize to tray button in Everest is borked up. You may have a solution for it?

I've put the glyphs inside the caption button bitmaps. If I would solve that problem then I have to take the glyphs out and put them in a separate bitmap. Which would add more complicated stuff to the theme.

@+Capric0rn

Thanks for your answer, I understand the difficulty of the problem. However if you might ever find some spare time.... ;) :blush: I would be glad to help, however I've got no clue creating themes, I only make scripts and little programs for Linux haha!

    • LOL. Can't even quote and edit a comment correctly. Figures you're a Linux user.
    • I have disabled it, but the app is still taking space. I have a Mac and it is only possible to disable Ai on that, but I think that bit does get rid of the AI components after a while. What we are told is that we agree to all this when we use the devices as it is in the end user agreements, their software, they can do what they like. I doubt that any bill will happen in the U.S, the government there are in league with big tech firms. The E.U maybe, they seem to have some guts when it comes to tech companies. The U.K is not in the E.U, but some things still affect us. Our government is as gutless when it comes to tech companies as the U.s government.
