Spain and Turkey were the best 2 teams of the competition.

Where is Euro 2012 anyway?

lol ok Alfista.

Turkey lead their games for a total of 15 minutes :-P. I'm going to have to go with Netherlands and Spain as being the top teams of the tournament. scoring 9 goals with 7 different players is pretty good if you ask me ;).

so, now that this tournament is over, how does a person like me (that knows crap about soccer) can continue following the sport?

I found myself liking Euro 2008 more than I thought I would, and I would like to continue watching some good futbol.

Just try and catch popular leagues like La Liga, Serie A and the English Premier League when they start up again in the coming months.

The final was a bit on the boring side compared to the other games. Spain had definite control over the majority of the match. Germany looked tired and unenthusiastic for some reason. Is it just me that got that vibe?

No I thought the same, infact I turned it off at half time.

You are not alone. The game was very dull to say the least. Of course, Germany does not play exciting football all the time so that was expected. They were probably one of the worst performing teams to get to the Euro final in history, other than Greece in 2004.

I truly believe that a Turkey - Spain match in the final would have been a much better one.

Well for one, do you know the rules of the game? Secondly, have you any watched any of the leagues and do you know any of the teams?

I actually pretty much enjoyed the final... well that was because my friends were over but still, Spain proved that they were in total control of the match and never looked like losing!
