Battlefield Bad Company

I can only play as support, for some reason. I have trouble getting kills with anything else but when I am support, I can rake up some kills and heal some teammates.

So weird, I answered this yesterday, but I guess the server issues I was still having messed it up.

Anyway I said you can ask all of these guys I tend to play with here, I am 75% of the time support.

The other 20% I am Demo, 4% Assault, and 1% Sniper. I basically will switch when there is a need for a different class, but support is without a doubt "my class."

And actually i think I found a new favorite gun last night. I was all about the G36 because of the dotted scope, but last night I used the M60 and had great results as it's damage is unmatched. Just the sight on it is a bit weird, and have to adapt to it, but I think I did, an will be using it for awhile now.

lol @ sunset. Can't believe I said that.

Picture of said sunset sunrise :p

Sunrise.jpg.

Anyways I'm gonna go crash out to some Simpsons.

Good games guys!

You my friend, are indeed a trooper. It was almost 1AM here and I was exhausted. Like I said though, back in the days when I was still a young lad such as yourself, me and the sunrise were very good friends, especially thanks to Mario 64. :p

Haha I hope I still have a good few years in me yet to pull it off :p

The last marathon I did with a game was in March playing Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Peter and I played it in one sitting over Live in co-op.

That was only 8 hours long or something.

Just got home with plenty of fizzy drinks and some lasagne, the house is empty until tomorrow.

So I'm definitely gunning for Rank 25 tonight - Anyone else playing, Hab, Drunk?

I'd love to but...unless you guys feel like pulling another all-nighter , i'll be leaving to go to a 40th birthday party in about 30 minutes. I have no idea when I'll be home tonight.

Trust me, I'd rather be home. If I happen to get home early enough, I'll look for you guys.

If not, I'll definitely try and catch up with you on Sunday. After I do my weekly chores around the house.

@Munky...Is that picture your backyard/frontyard/sideyard?

I'll probably be on again late tonight because of my sleeping pattern, so if you guys are around I'll play (Y)

@ AJ, yeah that's the view to the East from my bedroom, I'm pretty much right next door to a forest here, hence all the trees :p

I can't play until Monday :( Working all weekend.

Thanks for the replies about playing Support. I guess I need to unlock the auto-injector for assault as well but I've been working on unlocks for Support. Still need the remote detonator - that will be sick!

Hopefully I'll catch you guys online sometimes. It appears my schedule is way off from everyone elses! As is always the case working nights.

Yeah same here

I still can't think of anything I really want to play though..

Forgot to post this earlier, AJ and I were playing Conquest last night and owning in the tank. Then some guy came along trying to be smart and take the bridge out. The result..

And playing tonight I killed someone as he ran away from arming the crate and he ended up like this..

Was quite funny watching him swing around

The only game I have left in my pile of games I'm remotely interested in is Halo 3.

What really annoys me is, Bad Company needs only a few tweaks and fixes to be a perfect games, these fixes are a pretty significant, but still close to perfection. Now I am finally alone in the house and I don't have any games to play - Bleh :/

BFBC is still getting a bit long in the tooth now for me, even if they did fix all the problems with it. It wouldn't be so bad if there was something to swap between so I'm not always playing it.

There's not much to look forward to in the Multiplayer scene either, only Gears 2 and Call of Duty 5 :/

Call of Duty "5" is just going to be a blatant CoD 4 Rip-off with some new levels, altered and added perks and new weapons. Still going to be the exact same game under the hood.

Gears of War has never been my cup of tea, so I'm all out of luck :/

But I can't tempt you at all for a few Halo 3 matches some time, either regular matches or the small team games ( 2 v 2 v 2 etc. ) Just to mix things up a bit. You are pretty much the only person in here

who like ( Liked? ) Halo 3

Game doing fine for me. It's either this or COD4. Either one I wouldn't mind, but I'm prefering BC over COD4 atm.

But for me, the next game I'll be getting and hopefully playing on Live is Too Human, game does look sick, and it's exactly the kinda of game I adore.

I'd play it, just don't expect me to play it for any long peroid. I still play it whenever my friends are to stubborn to play anything but it. Just rather play COD4 or BC.

Side note, 1337 post! :p

Aw your subscriber badge is covering up the gold stars Slane

Congrats though (Y)

Yeah I will play Halo 3 Michael, I will totally need to adjust back into it though. I've not played competively online for months on Halo 3.

I'm not buying CoD5 either, it's just one of the very few Mutliplayer games coming out for the rest of this year. I just put a preorder down on Gears 2. I'm not a big fan of the multiplayer in GoW1 but I hope the changes in 2 will make it better. I'm more interested in continuing the story and co-op though.

Also preordered LittleBigPlanet, but that's not exactly an FPS/TPS :p

Edit: I completely forgot about Brothers in Arms. That should be good online right? It's out late September.

Edit2: Far cry 2 as well, wtf is wrong with me, I've forgotten about every game coming out lol.

You up for a few warm-up matches tonight or should we just wait?

But I will definitely look into Gears of War 2, but I need to see a huge heap of reviews from certain reviewers - There's too much "Oh my god, 9/10 game!" in reviews today. Only way I'm getting LBP is winning it or getting it as a gift

EDIT: Oh yeah, Brothers in Arms :woot: I'm SO looking forward to that one! Isn't this the first BiA with MP?

    • draw.io Desktop 30.2.4 by Razvan Serea draw.io desktop is a downloadable security-first diagramming application that runs on Windows, MacOS and Linux. Creating diagrams in the desktop app doesn’t need an internet connection. This is useful when you are disconnected or when you must create diagrams in a highly secure environment, where data protection is of the utmost importance. When you use the draw.io desktop app, your diagrams will be stored on your local device. Because this is a stand-alone application, also designed to run offline, there are no interfaces to cloud storage platforms available. Of course, you can still store your diagrams in folders that are synchronised to your cloud storage if you wish. Easy-to-use diagram editor The draw.io apps work just like the office and drawing tools you are used to using. Drag and drop shapes from the shape libraries and drag to draw connectors between them. Drag connectors to add waypoints and set a precise shape and position, or let them reroute automatically. Double click and start typing to add a label to anything. Create tables and swimlane flows with a familiar tool. Style shapes and connectors with customisable palettes, sketch options, fonts and text formatting tools. Search for shapes, including in open-source icon libraries. Use our vast libraries of shapes and templates, organised into logical categories, to create a range of diagrams and infographics. Generate diagrams from text descriptions using our smart templates. Diagram faster with keyboard shortcuts. draw.io Desktop 30.2.4 changelog: Uses electron 42.4.1 Updates to draw.io core 30.2.4. • Microsoft will soon allow some users to block Copilot from analyzing their Office files by Usama Jawad Microsoft Purview is a pretty useful data governance, security, and management service that allows customers to gain enhanced visibility and control over their content. It's meant for commercial customers, such as organizations that are storing data at scale. As AI continues to expand and infiltrate every corner of a firm, many are a bit conscious about the technology gaining access to their confidential data. Microsoft is now making a configuration change that will allow such customers to rest easy. Right now, users within an organization have the option to apply Purview sensitivity labels (when available) to secure certain files and label them as such. For example, if you apply the "Confidential" label on an Excel file, the file will be encrypted, and a "confidential" watermark will be applied to it. So, if this file is shared with anyone, they are aware that its access is supposed to be restricted. Up until now, Microsoft was allowing some connected experiences, like its AI services, to analyze files, regardless of their sensitivity label. This is of major concern to most organizations, as a recent example highlighted how confidential emails with data loss prevention (DLP) policies like privacy labels were being uploaded to Copilot for analysis. As such, Microsoft is updating an existing Purview data label sensitivity setting that prevents "some connected experiences that analyze content", from being blocked completely from doing this. The label isn't changing, but the blocking is now being enforced across all connected services (including Copilot and other AI tools), and now extends to Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Files with the label applied already will get this enhancement automatically too once it becomes available. Microsoft has urged IT admins to inform their respective helpdesk and compliance teams, update internal documentation, and review sensitivity labels to ensure that they meet their respective compliance needs. This change is tagged as MC1297982 in the Message Center. General availability is scheduled to begin in a phased manner soon and will complete by the end of next month. That said, it is important to note that this only applies to commercial customers who have a license that allows them to use Purview.

    • All versions is correct. The bug appears on any version of Windows with KB5094126 installed. It's a little insane to expect the author to explain that systems that can't possibly have that patch installed, will not experience the bug. If you have any gripe about the title, it would be that it doesn't mention the update at all, but I wouldn't agree with that either. A title is not expected to be a full summery of the article.
