Likewise. But when I say something to support my club it triggers the rage. Some of the things you Liverpool fans say here is pretty ridiculous. I guess that's all in the game of supporting but in reality I never have a problem getting along with any of your other fans.

Its competitive, and I've asked several times to have productive discussions dating back to 2007. Yet, every time something comes up its bash this and bash that. I however think your run at the CL will be cut short and Man Utd will win it again.

My Family, I was born as a Chelsea fan my friend. Since age 1 I wore Chelsea jerseys and like wise to basketball - Chicago Bulls jersey's. Thanks to my dad! Not to shabby for being an American now is it? Its funny to think I supported my club before you were even born :).

Productive discussion attempt #2: Why are you always down talking other teams than yours? Its pretty evident that you do, and it is the only reason why I say liverfail. I never comment on the Chelski references or anything of that nature... so don't get angry about it. Also, about your comment on "activity in the sporting arena for 2 months" clearly 2007 is 2 months ago right... I guess so :D!

Sabatime, nice to meet you too. Further proving my point that any liverpool supporter is a complete asshat(at least on these forums). I've met a few on irc who have no problem talking productively about our teams.

I wish Liverpool luck this weekend but I don't think its happening.

That is a pretty good effort that you supported Chelsea in the 1980's. Especially good considering there was little to no exposure of 'soccer' (trying to be multi-cultural and talk in your lingo) before 1992 when English football changed and become more commercial both nationally and internationally. My mind does wonder how you followed Chelsea during that time.

Congratulations on being two years older than me, you seem pretty happy about that. You must have lived your life to the MAX during that time to be as brilliant and as awesome as you are.

As for productive discussion attempt #2, maybe you should show me where I am shooting down other teams, I think it is a habit you have as you demonstrated in your next post about how blah blah blah Liverpool won't win the Champions League.

Anyway lad, you need to take a good look at yourself rather that insulting others constantly. What did Sabatime say to deserve being called a 'complete asshat'? No need for that is there?

Zidane names Gerrard as best player in the world

Zinedine Zidane believes Steven Gerrard is the best player in the world.

The legendary former Real Madrid playmaker saw his old club dismantled by Gerrard's Liverpool on Tuesday night, when the Reds ran out 4-0 winners at Anfield, 5-0 on aggregate.

England's midfield star scored two of the goals and ahead of tomorrow's crucial trip to Old Trafford, Zidane has claimed he is a better all-round player than Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo, the current holder of the Ballon d'Or.

"Is he the best in the world? He might not get the attention of (Lionel) Messi and Ronaldo but yes, I think he just might be,'' the former France captain said.

"If you don't have a player like Steven Gerrard, who is the engine room, it can affect the whole team.

"When we were winning league titles and European Cups at Real, I always said Claude Makelele was our most important player.

"There is no way myself, (Luis) Figo or Raul would have been able to do what we did without Claude and the same goes for Liverpool and Gerrard.''

Zidane added: "He has great passing ability, can tackle and scores goals, but most importantly he gives the players around him confidence and belief.

"You can't learn that - players like him are just born with that presence.''

It's kind of hard to follow a sports team when you're an adolescent... You asked me what made me a chelsea fan and I told you. It doesn't matter if it was mainstream or not, The family pictures don't lie. No sense in being multicultural, I can relate to the game as soccer, football, futbol, what ever you prefer. Here we prefer soccer. That's like arguing whether to use u in specific words.... colour, etc...

Are you blind dude?

Martyn keep up the good owning and lets see Liverpool play....

Definitely needed to be addressed which further proved my point. Arguing with you is like the Special Olympics, except I am the only winner. Carry on my patron saint, because surely that is what you are. Maybe I should get out my "wikipedia links" to prove a point to you.. or you might just over look that as well and blame it on some one else :).

So, What made you a liverpool fan?

I'm surprised they promoted you to news staff based on your posts. Congrats though.

It's not based on posts its based on how well you can construct and write an article, nothing is based on your posts when you are promoted.

Nice to see things getting dominated about a certain club by a certain person again, tut.

Anyway, pompey play boro tomorrow, we've got to start picking up wins and tomorrow should be the day!

Still feeling bitter at Harry leaving, we've got to cut costs now, he had brought in players and didn't make much of an effort to get rid of them. People like Traor?(Djimi) and Lauren, he brought players that he didn't really seem to have faith in, Utaka, Mvemba and nugent.

When Diara and Muntari left he didn't seem to make much effort to change the midfield about, all the time saying pompey would be his last job, then zoom off to spurs and already bitched and put a few of the players down.

I also heard Sunderlands craig gordon is no longer first choice, quite a thing to do to a keeper that costs quite a bit

what a great game, Man United was bring it on in the second but then Vidic made a terrible decision and it was down hill from there. Dossena his second goal for th eclub amazing!! his first goal was againt real madrid! I love it LIVERPOOL ALL THE WAY

and 4 for us too!!! :D

Arshavin is getting his form back and showing what Russian Pele is all about

and we are starting to get into the top gears just at the right time :)

What we need now is Eduardo, Rosicky, Ade and Fab to come back and we'll be ready to win every game :p

4:0 Arsenal - Blackburn

could have been a lot more if Bendtner knew how to score!

Still a great result...Arshavin getting his first Premier League goal and Eboue scoring twice!

I agree!!! He missed some sitters!! and so did Walcott but at least he created some chances.. Walcott brought the missing cutting edge back to Arsenal :)

mail - being a Manc fan that I guess you are, you will never understand the fact that picture will not matter to a Pool fan at the moment.

The pricelessness of doing the double over you, even after the comments made by Shrek Rooney and the rest before the game, is enough to keep us singing until the end of the season.

So not only did we spank you at Anfield we then proceeded to kick you about on your muck heap......

    • I have never been a huge fan of libre, it feels really good but exactly when you need an advance feature for data wrangling it falls short every time or has bugs. I am all for euro office if they can deliver a good and usable alternative to MS office with backing of govt function.
    • Go on, I'll bite. How does windows (nice comment on an 'article' which doesn't actually involve it ) lock users out of their data then? Been using it since 3.1 back in 92 and not once have I been locked out of my data? Perhaps you mean Bitlocker? In which case the average user (who doesn't mess about) will have been forced to use a MSA, and in which case the recovery key would have been saved to said account..... If the user did happen to bodge around and not use an MSA then Bitlocker wouldn't have become live (as it cannot without a safe place to store the key) I want to point out Bitlocker and MSA are not connected and you can of course force it on without a safe place to store the key, but you do that with your eyes open. So your standard consumer who knows no better sets up an MSA, gets bitlocker and a recovery key stored off box, with a route to reset their password. All of this notwithstanding the fact, if your data is important, you back it up, no ifs, no buts, no-ones responsibility other than your own. Important data lives in at least two locations, one of which is offline and recovery is tested, otherwise that data wasn't really that important. Disks, fail, laptops get lost, phones end up down the toilet, tablets get stolen, if your only copy of data is on a single device you're doing it wrong.
    • Clearly that feature isn't for us. It's for the ad spam marketers so they can more directly target us about going to places we might want to go again...but without understanding context clues. Like for the flight someone took for a friend's funeral. We want to be reminded of that every time we open an app, a browser, or email, right? Right, Siri?
    • Is your Apple Watch supported? Check the watchOS 27 compatibility list by Aditya Tiwari Apple kicked off WWDC 2026 with a ton of announcements, mostly centered around Apple Intelligence improvements, the Siri AI, and Liquid Glass updates. However, there is a lot of other stuff that couldn't catch the limelight. Let's talk about watchOS 27 and which models are supported by the newest operating system. According to the Cupertino giant, watchOS 27 will be supported on the following Apple Watch models when it arrives later this year: Apple Watch Ultra 3 Apple Watch Series 11 Apple Watch SE 3 Apple Watch Series 10 Apple Watch Ultra 2 It's a stark contrast with last year's watchOS 26 update, which had almost a dozen Apple Watch models in its list of supported devices. Apple supported models all the way back to Apple Watch Series 6. That said, if you own one of the five models, you'll need an iPhone 11 (or later) with iOS 27 to install the latest update. Yes, Apple has shown some extra love to the iPhone 11, and it old horse supports the iOS 27 update. watchOS 27 beta 1 is now available for developers and interested power users through the Apple Developer Program. So, if you're among those who like to play with fire, you can download it to your supported Apple Watch. Otherwise, the public beta for watchOS 27 will be available next month. The freshly baked Apple Watch update comes with Siri AI - an advanced, fully conversational version of Siri powered by Apple Intelligence due for later this year. A new dynamic app grid features icons for five Siri-suggested apps. You can use a new tap gesture to open a widget in the Smart Stack, and a new Find My app finally clears the mess of Find Devices, Find Items, and Find People on Apple Watch. Workout Buddy can run without an iPhone nearby and offers new insights based on data, including your progress for pace, distance, and workout duration. Apple improved its motion tracking algorithms to measure the distance of indoor treadmill runs and walks more precisely. Speaking of other changes, the music playback on watchOS 27 starts faster and you can create custom passes for any membership or card that uses a QR code or barcode, then easily access them in the Wallet app or pin in the Smart Stack.
    • "and pull old flight details from your email during back-and-forth conversations" The Siri I've become to know and trust. I've always wanted to pull info on old flights. /s
