lol @ Man Utd performance.

I missed Rooney's sending off, watch it later tonight on Match of the Day.

I hope big Sir Alex fines the team for that nonsense today.

Before today I was going to change my fantasy league team that has Schwarzer, Konchesky and Murphy as I thought Man Utd would win. Sooooo glad I forgot, have Schwarzer as captain as well :D

Only problem is I have 3 Man Utd players in the team also :( - http://fantasy.premierleague.com/M/eventhist.mc?id=654291

COME ON YOU SPURS!

Truly the one of the best performances I have seen in years from Spurs, looked composed, competent on the ball and hit with pace. Modric and Lennon were superb and Gomes is beginning to show the kind of form that made him a hero at PSV.

Waffer cup is well within the bounds of possibility! Who would have thought it!!!

Did pool a bit of a favour too - definitely mixed it up what with Fulham's win against the Manx.

I missed the game today coz of work :( heard a bit on the radio driving back.. 3-1 sounds convincing.. will be waiting anxiously for MotD..

Thank you Spurs!!! Thats 2 weeks in the row you've helped us stay in top 4 :p

Will be hoping Liverpool brings it on against Villa.. you never know with the Reds :s

What a win! Van Persie still could not score for god knows how many games in a row by now.

Great game, great penalty save by Almunia! But terrible moment for Gallas right after we went 1:0 up, let Martins equalize less than a minute later...

Oh well, it's all good in the end.

Walcott is injured again!! :( 3-5 weeks.. can miss the rest of the season.. thats a blow we can't afford especially with Rosicky not returning as well..

Anyways.. just had a look at the league table and noticed there is a bit of the gap opening now between the relegation zone and rest of the league.. not big.. its just 2 points..

West Brom is doomed.. but Boro and New Castle might be able to do something able it yet.. Here are the remaining fixtures for both of them.. on paper it seems very interesting..

Middlesbrough:

Bolton(A)

Hull(H)

Fulham(H)

Arsenal(A)

Man U(H)

New Castle(A)

Villa(H)

West Ham(A)

New Castle:

Chelsea(H)

Stoke(A)

Spurs(H)

Portsmouth(H)

Liverpool(A)

Middlesbrough(H)

Fulham(H)

Villa(A)

Your thoughts?

From the lists you posted, it looks like both clubs have rather difficult fixtures coming up.

If I had to choose who could stay up, I would rather Boro stayed in the Premier League, simply because one of my old housemates is a Boro fan. Middlesborough don't fill out The Riverside well, but they do produce some good English talent, a rare characteristic of top flight teams. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind Newcastle, but it would be rather amusing to see such a self proclaimed 'big club' get relegated.

There are still lots of clubs who could still get sucked into a relegation dog fight.

Ow man - just got back from the hospital after popping a lung laughing so much at the Mancs losing again ;)

So Rafas outburst in January has got to rosy nose Fergie then - what a day, just hope Pool can win tomorrow to close the lead and get to 2nd in the league.

Come on you pool, make the mancs crap themselves some more!!

Oooo I would laugh but it hurts so much :D

Got to say its going to be a nail biting end to the season - but the last couple of weeks have been brilliant for the Pool, they have finally started playing extremely well together.

To be honest, I have blasts from the past, they are playing like the Liverpool team of the 80s.

There is no clear winner for the league but I am happy as larry!

Shame that some Villa fans are leaving already, their team may be stuffed but at least they could try to raise them to the game - bad show I say!

Apart from that - gooooo ooooooooon Pooooooooooooooooooool!!

Harsh red card - but I am glad and fingers crossed for number 5!!

Harsh red card - aint that an understatement. Still, if we're gonna get thrashed, I'd rather it be by Liverpool than United (now go and win the bloody league, 'cause you aint getting Barry in the Summer :) )

LOL, was picturing him in a red shirt as well ;)

Lenon is firmly out of the picture as he signed a 2 year contract extension yesterday!!

I didn't know that (about Lenon) - he's a decent enough player, but yeah looks like Benetiz won't be able to spend some of his ?100m (According to the Mirror) on either Lenon or Barry (Fingers crossed - I would hope that he'll appreciate that, if we'd got a stronger squad, we coulda kept up the challenge for 4th).

He he he he :shifty:

They say.. class is permanent.. form is temporary!!

and Arsenal and Liverpool are just proving that and just at the right time :D

Thank you 'Pool!!! We are now safe in 4th place it seems :p

btw what a super 2 weeks its been for Liverpool! Confidence must be beyond the sky at Anfield.. 3 amazing wins + Rafa staying + Stevie G had the case against him dropped!!

5-0. Could be worse ;)

Rafa has 'definitely' cracked up now

I felt pretty sorry for Friedel when he got sent off. It was really harsh, but I suppose by the laws of the game he had to see red.

It was nice to see he got a standing ovation from both sets of supporters, it is just a shame he will be missing when you play Man Utd next.

    • Windows 11 is a big thumbs down from me. I used for a period of a few days while it was in insider and windows 10 was the main OS, and realised it wasn't for me. I am still waiting for Windows to be tolerable again, a shame as at one point I was very pro Microsoft.
    • Classic outlook, not only does it have a much fuller feature set, it doesn't include Microsoft attempting to sync my emails from my servers to theirs. If classic outlook is ever removed from office, and the version I paid for in 2021 stops working for some reason, I'll use Thunderbird.
    • Kdenlive 26.04.2 by Razvan Serea Kdenlive is an acronym for KDE Non-Linear Video Editor. It works on GNU/Linux, Windows and BSD. Through the MLT framework, Kdenlive integrates many plugin effects for video and sound processing or creation. Furthermore Kdenlive brings a powerful titling tool, a DVD authoring (menus) solution, and can then be used as a complete studio for video creation. Kdenlive supports all of the formats supported by FFmpeg or libav (such as QuickTime, AVI, WMV, MPEG, and Flash Video, among others), and also supports 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios for both PAL, NTSC and various HD standards, including HDV and AVCHD. Video can also be exported to DV devices, or written to a DVD with chapters and a simple menu. Video editing features: Multi-track editing with a timeline and supports an unlimited number of video and audio tracks. A built-in title editor and tools to create, move, crop and delete video clips, audio clips, text clips and image clips. Ability to add custom effects and transitions. Visual effects include options for masking, blue-screen, distortions, rotations, colour tools, blurring, obscuring and others. Configurable keyboard shortcuts and interface layouts. Rendering is done using a separate non-blocking process so it can be stopped, paused and restarted. Kdenlive also provides a script called the Kdenlive Builder Wizard (KBW) that compiles the latest developer version of the software and its main dependencies from source, to allow users to try to test new features and report problems on the bug tracker. Project files are stored in XML format. An archiving feature allows exporting a project among all assets into a single folder or compressed archive. • Here's how to watch the Xbox Games Showcase today and what to expect by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe The June games showcase week has been a packed one, with everything from major presentations like Sony and Summer Game Fest to indie-focused reveals coming in almost every day. Now, it's almost time for another big one, with Microsoft bringing its Xbox Games Showcase back later today. This is a double feature too, with a Gears of War E-Day deep dive also being attached to it. For anyone wanting to tune in online, the 2026 Xbox Games Showcase is kicking off at 10 AM PT | 1 PM ET | 6 PM BST | 7 PM CEST later today, June 7. The event will be available to watch on the official Xbox YouTube (4K 60FPS), Twitch, Facebook, Steam, Amazon Live, and other portals. Separate livestreams for American Sign Language and Audio Description will also be available. "This year marks 25 years of XBOX, and this Showcase is poised to be a true celebration, offering world premieres, new gameplay, fresh updates, and more for a swathe of projects we cannot wait to share," said Microsoft about this presentation. With a new CEO behind it that is pulling off some interesting moves, Xbox may have some surprises to reveal today. New looks at first-party games like Halo Campaign Evolved from Halo studios, Fable from Playground Games, InXile Entertainment's Clockwork Revolution, Mojang's Minecraft Dungeons II, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 from Infinity Ward are to be expected here. We may finally get to see the new Blade from Arcane Studios in action and a new Persona game from Atlus at the showcase too. Surprise announcements may also arrive from other Microsoft-owned studios like Bethesda, MachineGames, Ninja Theory, Obsidian, Rare, World's Edge, or Blizzard. Considering how every new release nowadays is staying away from November and December to avoid Grand Theft Auto VI's release, any launch dates Microsoft announces will probably skip those months as well. Once the Xbox Games Showcase ends, Microsoft will immediately kick off the Gears of War: E-Day Direct. This deep dive into the upcoming prequel from The Coalition should attach gameplay footage and perhaps a release window to the highly anticipated project.
