thanks moon..... i thought that fly shot was hilarious, i had to post it. I took about 6 of them just to make sure i had the dof right, i showed them to my wife and she was disgusted, not by the picture however, by the fact that i was taking pictures of it..lol

@MasterC... I use photoshop (adobe raw) to do most of the work, curves, saturation, sharpening etc.... then i load them up in lightroom where i just experiment, but most of my recent shots i use a filter that i made so it's easily applied, if you have lightroom i can send you the filter.

Edit: You know what else is funny about those flies... they were persistant man, i was pretty close up and they would not fly away, they just kept on *cough* truckin' *cough*...lol
