Actually, while the kids were fighting each other, I was gonna check out the conference for the big boys (and little kids, and pre-teens, and teens, and adults, and pre-elderly, and elderly, and deceased) :rofl: But seriously, Microsoft laid a proper 1-2 KO punch in that conference, Sony's gotta come back in the second round for sure.

Anyway.. Nintendo... yeah. I'm praying for a Zelda Console announcement, I'm really itching for a new Zelda :p Also hoping for some kind of Kid Icarus announcement, too.

I think Nintendo's E3 keynote will probably be the biggest disappointment of the 3.

If all they have to show is a new 'addon' to the WiiMote and a few titles then it is over for them.

I can see them announcing prehaps a new updated console than will play DVDs (lol a bit late) or they will announce some new colours for the Wii.

It is worrying for them since most of the attention is on Microsoft and Sony.

The Wii is capable of reading DVDs and there has already been work on this in the hacking scene but knowing Nintendo they will re-release the console just for this feature even though they could just put it in a update.

I guess we will find out what we have in store soon enough. The biggest announcement they could hope for is Kingdom Hearts 3 exclusive which will cause a massive amount of hype. I will not be happy about it if it does though since i want it with HD graphics.

I told my sister about the possibility of KH3 coming to the Wii (she is a massive fan of Kingdom Hearts fan) and she said she would go mental. She prefers it on Playstation, even if it did come to the Playstation2 without HD graphics, she would be happy.

I guess we will find out later. Well for me i will find out after the keynote when i get back from work.

Nah, no PS2, no upscaled PS2 on Wii, and no tacked on waggle wand BS - The game controls perfectly fine on a normal gaming pad.

Proper HD sequel to KH2 on either of the next gen consoles, is the only way the game will move forward. It's art direction has the possibility to look jaw dropping in HD.

Sony still has FF13, and it's exclusive in Japan. FF13 Versus is fully exclusive.

KH3 going to Wii would be the definition of lost - It wouldn't appear on the PS3 at all. You would then have to pray for a PS2 port if you don't own a Wii.

Don't steal games that would naturally of progressed to HD, all that does is hinder them.

Yes Bioshock is coming to the PS3, but it was a new IP made this generation, not one that has a history of 10+ years.

Putting a Wii and PS3 version side by side would practically = A different game. If it comes out on the Wii, it's not coming to the PS3. But anyway, nothing is announced and this rumour only started due to that picture in the official Nintendo Magazine.

both Sony and MS have been focusing a lot on the "cyber-community" aspect, but since the release of the Wii Nintendo has focused on the "family-community". Basically in place of gathering on-line, they would like people to gather in the living room, and that idea fits perfectly with their casual gamer target market.

I haven't given up on Nintendo just yet, but the are getting pretty predictable.

What do I expect from Nintendo...well nothing specific but here goes:

- some sort of new gadget or a game that involves a gadget

- a new channel that uses the Mii's in some way

- another game targeted to the super-casual market

IMO, if The Big N would like to win back a few "hardcore" gamers... they need to drastically improve their on-line community (aka start one). But if they are looking to dominate the casual market... I think they're on a good path.

The 360 is in bottom position in the states this year in terms of sales, and in Japan obviously. Europe is unknown.

So yeah, in preparation for FF13 the 360 needs to boost back up to number 1, at least in the states, and stay there.

That is where my point of making assumptions on FF13 sales comes into play. We'll see AAA titles this year, and probably next, along side hardware price cuts before FF13 is even out.

Heck the way things have been announced at that Square conference yesterday we'll be lucky if FF13 in Japan 2009, FF13 US 2010 with EU end of 2010.

Sadly it does... but I think MS knows that if they "calm down" Sony could catch up or eve surpass them. I'm pretty sure MS feels the heat from Sony and that's why had such a great keynote yesterday.

If KH3 goes to the Nintendo...well... Sony better have a backup plan. It would also mean that millions of Sony fan around the world would start killing them selves once they get wind of the news :p

Why would everybody hate kh3 to be on the wii? With all the casuals who love disney like a child being on the wii they would get tons of buyers for it on the wii.

Remember kh3 appeal is that it has disney characters on it. Also disney owns the rights to their own characters. If disney says it has to be on the wii I really don't think square has a choice unless they drop the disney characters from the game. Remember Disney is heavily developing for the wii and ds.

The wii still offers better graphics then the ps2. Its just that developers have been lazy . HEck I think with microsoft getting ff13 i would think you could also see kh3 on the 360 also.
