spacey
I agree, crop a bit, so we can further see details on the shroom a bit more !.cipher I like your photos, however, how about trying to focus on a small part of the flower rather than the whole flower itself. Like on the first one, the spots. On the red one ( which seems a bit way to harsh for my eyes) perhaps focusing on the buds. I dunno, just my 2 cents :p i'll disagree with both of you... his photo follows the rule of thirds which is just fine. i also like how with all the black, the white mushroom being the minority pops out more -- if it was more of a balance of white/black then i don't think the mushroom would jump out as much. spacey
C&C welcome... thanks! Just borrowing a 50 f1.4 from a friend. The second picture is on the soft full size, I'm wondering if the D300 had trouble focusing properly with the lens in the poor lighting. crazzy88ss
I was going through my old pictures that I scanned into digital a long time ago. These were taken when I was 11-13 or so using disposable cameras. http://www.flickr.com/photos/stephenkirsh/2782497790/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/stephenkirsh/2782497784/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/stephenkirsh/2782497780/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/stephenkirsh/2782497772/ This one was 3 images I stitched together. The seams look really bad because I didn't really plan on stitching them together as I didn't even know that was possible back then!
