right, it didnt work. audioboxer, say your goodbyes...

You'll be banned, that's why.

If you try the same card more than 3 times you get a 24 hour ban.

I tried more than 3 times on thursday night, so my bans lifted for today.

I assume you tried 3 times yesterday? Meaning your ban will be lifted today sometime.

That's what the message "The credit card details cannot be updated right now" means.

so did you not try it at all yesterday?? if so, how many times did you try it (or does it just time it from the 1st three attempts?)...

ps. i was only kidding about the whole murder thing.

edit: also, i just phoned them and he said there wasnt a problem on their end, which there must of been, because why else would my card of been rejected in the 1st 3 attempts (all details were spot on...)

From the first time you seen the message "The credit card details cannot be updated right now" a 24 hour ban is in place I believe.

There is no problem at their end now I don't think as my card worked, but there was up until today.

I entered my details today by going right into the store and clicking buy now on Wipeout HD and it asked me for a card.

Ok, i have a question. I've downloaded that soundtrack, but...

1. Unzip the package

Unzip the package on a USB key. Select "Extract Here" if you can. There should be 2 folders in your jumpdrive's root directory, "MUSIC" and "PICTURE".

how are you meant to unzip it when it's a .rar file? Or am i missing something?

Yeah I agree with you, the game looks great and they've done a good job of it by the sounds of all the reviews. The exact reason I'm not rushing out to buy it though is because I already have the previous games where they took the tracks etc.

I may buy it still as I'm a bit starved of games right now until the 24th. Also looking at COH though!

yeh but pure/pulse on psp with ****ty psp controls and 480*272 display cant compete against the ps3 version

I am really on the edge, should I buy this game or not? Really miss an extremely fast paced game where reaction times is the key element. I never really got into WipeOut, had a few of the games but back then they just seemed like a low-budget racer but my opinion changed over the years.

So is this as fast paced as I remember it or just some slow racer on some colourful tracks created by developers on shrooms?

I played this at my buddy's house today, and good God, it is amazing. I'm a pretty big WipEout fan, so maybe it's hard for me to be impartial, but this game definitely does justice to the franchise. If you've played either of the PSP WipEout games you'll be right at home.

Between this and the upcoming Socom game, the PS3 is looking so tempting right now.

Yeah I do, but I still want to skill up a bit before I go online.

Main thing is to learn the courses inside out on Venom speed first. The campaign mode is great for setting you up for Rapier/Phantom races because it forces you to go through all the race courses repeatedly slowly first.

Just remember that when you do move up a speed bracket your driving tactics and lines will have to change slightly. Generally... slow speeds = more d-pad, less airbrakes/sideshifts, fast speeds = less d-pad, more airbrakes/sideshifts.

    • Just the price of doing business. The scamble to pull as much from the web as possible is happening, and it's happening before a case like this changes how or what is legal do to with AI in terms of data harvesting. But even then as we've seen with the likes of Google who ignore cookie requests and just accept the fact they'll get fined, it's built into their business price model now. AI is here, its not going away. Their reward if any from the court case would be best suited to trying to incorprate AI or licence their end points as authentic human verified content. The problem is, as we've seen these same news papers are using AI themselves.

    • This Chinese company is reportedly developing a feature Apple and Samsung can only dream of by Hamid Ganji While companies like Apple and Samsung have been relatively conservative with their devices’ battery capacities in recent years, Chinese manufacturers have taken the competition to the next level by introducing significantly larger batteries. However, the latest report from China suggests that a local company may already be developing a smartphone with a whopping 14,000mAh battery. Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station claimed on Weibo that a smartphone maker is developing a device with a 14,000mAh battery. If true, it would be the largest battery ever used in a smartphone and could, in theory, provide up to a week of battery life on a single charge. The leaker did not reveal the name of the company behind the device, but there are some clues. This week, HONOR unveiled the X80 Pro Max in China with an 11,000mAh battery and 90W wired charging support. The company also launched the Honor Win in January, which packs a 10,000mAh battery. HONOR, a former subsidiary of Huawei, has a proven track record of developing smartphones with unusually large batteries. However, other Chinese brands, including Xiaomi, have also launched devices such as the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max with 7,500mAh batteries. Though Chinese users on Weibo also believe the company behind the new battery is HONOR. Interestingly, Digital Chat Station said the device with the 14,000mAh battery weighs around 220 grams, making it lighter than the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max (233 grams) and slightly heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra (214 grams). The iPhone 17 Pro Max currently packs a 5,088mAh battery in eSIM-only versions, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra features a 5,000mAh battery. Neither device is expected to see a dramatic increase in battery capacity in its next-generation successor. So when it comes to battery comparison, Chinese brands are unbeaten. HONOR smartphones are currently available in the EU, but the Chinese brand has no official presence in the United States due to restrictions imposed by the U.S. government.
