BTW, this has probably been asked before but, can i delete the user i created when setting the trade up? Or do i have to keep it to be able to play the games? I ask specifically about Wipeout because you need to have a key and was wondering if it was tied to the new user on the PS3.

yes, i think you have to keep the user account. maybe name it to GameShare or something...

i think you can only do it from the activated ps3, which if its broken is not possible. i think the only other option is to phone sony and ask them to deactivate all ps3's on your account, then reactivate the one you currently own.

But you're in the same boat as Xerofdv, and like Lewism said it can't be shared (technically it can, but you must use the sharers account every time to play, otherwise it won't work).

As for shareable games, I think that is neat idea that I have not experienced yet...

I am still new to PS3, and I don't have any games on PSN..as I am still waiting for PSN cards to hit the stores instead of inputting some CC numbers.

+1 It may sound harsh but I have to agree here, it's a nice community here and I guess one where most of the members do put a lot of trust in each other when it comes to things like this. For them to trust someone that looks to have signed up just to share would take a brave or generous person. Not saying you can't be trusted or that you haven't been reading the boards for years, but hopefully you can see where people are coming from too :)
