[Official] Gears of War 2

the futureshop ones are never to busy. They usually have MORE then enough stock and let everyone in right away. You can get there just before they open no problem and get your copy with ease.

well I"m going there because of the free NECA headshot figurine with Cog tags.. lol.. or else I wouldn't be going there anyway. Besides, it's only 5min walk from my house.

Hmm just tried this online and....

I've never been so underwhelmed in my life.

Lag is measured in seconds rather than ms. Therefore people warp like we're playing on our old 56k modems back in 1997. Hits don't register properly and people are glitching about the map and sound effects are out of sync too! :s

Needless to say I'm unimpressed. :/

Your probably playing people not even close to your location like across the seas...

Are you sure its not just you? I watched a couple of leaked multiplayer gameplay and seem very smooth to me.

Agreed.

Try waiting until the game actually comes out before passing your judgement on the multiplayer...

Oh and Spookie, if you want to stay away from glitchers why not submit a player review against them and file a complaint? Submitting a player review will give you a less chance of joining their room.

It doesn't for me, I did that for PGR3. Ended up giving up in the end as I kept getting lumped with them.

System link? My connection is fine. sub 80 pings in WoW, 15 pings to local servers in TF2.

If you want a game on time, or before the release date stick with gameplay/game (same company now) or shopto. Game tend to be ruthlessly efficient when it comes to dispatch and Shopto work hard to get the games out as they are only a small company and need the biz.

    • Looks like no official TBW rating, which should be a required listing in my opinion for sites like Amazon (hell, put it on the box too.)
    • I think I understood the article fine. Online password managers open users up to more possibilities of getting hacked, and due to KeePass being offline and local it reduces the idea of getting hacked. If someone chooses to put their database online they're kinda missing the point. With regards to the idea of the on-prem idea, I would have two issues. I'm not sure about the first issue, but I wouldn't be surprised about them offering a cloud storage for the passwords that most wouldn't bother to switch off, regardless of if they went for on-prem or not. The second issue is that the on-prem solution for Bitwarden costs money, whereas KeePass is free and open-source (as far as I am aware). The article points out how to sync the database between devices, and I recognise that deficiency in security. But it isn't a necessity. So both services can offer a same idea, but one is free and the other isn't...choices, choices.... But to each their own.

    • I am not surprised because life is the product of a lot of biochemical and physical processes that releases various energies as a by-product. The only thing new here is the detection of these photon emissions. The researches noted this "glow" is not a metaphysical one. They don't even immediately end when one is dead. Things like fires, light bulbs, and on a bigger scale stars release a lot more "light" and they are hardly alive.
