[Official] Halo 3: ODST

Recommended Posts

For any of you interested, you can actually get to play (well explore) the space station map that the opening video takes place on - kinda cool :geek:

I found this out because I'd taken my profile round to my bro's for a session of firefight so then when I went to play it the next day on my own console, I copied my profile back to my HDD and once I selected firefight it said I hadn't got a map selected, but I could start the mission so I did and it puts you on the space station!

I called my bro to tell him and he jumped onto xbox.com to check what my profile said and it comes up as you're "firefight on unknown". He then had a quick look on google and saw that someone else had found it to and uploaded a video to youtube - Youtube Video of Firefight Space Station Map - it also gives instructions in the info field on how to get it to load a blank map.

Like I said - it's interesting for any Halo fans so I figured I'd post about it.

P.S. I did search the forum first but couldn't see anyone mentioning doing this so apologies if someone's mentioned it and I've missed it.

Any of you guys ever look at some of the strategies on the Endure achivement. saw a pretty good one over at Xbox360achivements.org. Don't try and read the post. Way too confusing he is all over the place. But the videos sure do explain alot.

A picture ( or video in this case) in worth a thousand words.

Linky!

Here is the actual vid.

Very Cool. Will definitely have to try that out.

My friend and I just played for the Endure achievement by ourselves and I must say, it was quite difficult just the two of us. We both had two people signed in on our Xboxes and were only playing one while hiding the other. Anyway, 190 minutes later we got the achievement and it literally came down to our last two playable lives. I was on his secondary person and he was on his primary. We finished with zero lives remaining and very little health. I thought for sure we were going to lose it right at the end, but somehow we made it. So, tomorrow we'll do the D?j? Vu achievement and finally get Reco:):)

im available now and for a bit to play some firefight. Ideally id like to get a few 200k achievements. Shouldn't take to long to get one.

lulz.. 2hrs on easy to get one. lol. I'll be on around 11pm EST.

@Razor, sorry for not replying to your PM's on XBL, I use the 360 to watch videos every night and fall asleep with it left on too usually. JUst so you know I wasn't ignoring you :p

btwww, technically that was 2 words and 1 number ^^^ :p ;)

excuses Andy.. excuses.. lol. A number is still a word! lol.. anyway.. Although I still do plan on finishing up the ODST achievements.. anyone up for it? I"ll be on around 11pm EST. Still need Endure, 2 more 2k achievements ( Chasm Ten and Last Exit (we could probably do Endure for Last Exit that will include the 2k achievement)).

    • This makes me think of Dune for some reason.
    • I'm too old to return to the "good old days" when I was installing custom ROMs and tinkering with my devices - now I just want to turn it on and use it. I've read that banking and payment apps work on Murena /e/OS (I'll have to check the ones I use) and I also really want to support Fairphone 😉
    • Time to start going to the local church and play Bingo for a while.
