When you browse to game and software news, the blue color theme doesn't change to the traditional green or grey. The layout doesn't make use of high resolution monitors. Ads appear to standout because of the lack of page scaling. Comments system when quoting a previous reply seems a bit buggy. v4 themes are no longer supported. Thanks for killing the main page. :(

The ad placement in the middle of the page is ANNOYING. The text of the articles could be smaller. The front page layout is just WAY too cluttered. The buttons under the first article feel out of place and are in the way. Basically, the front page just looks like someone just randomly put things there without thinking about the usability.

I do like the overall look, but it needs a lot of work in order to be considered usable. In the end, if I could switch back to the old one, I would.

I dont like it at all, where is the auto update of foum posts etc? Now you have to refresh the page either with the browser button or F5 clicking the little refresh button does diddly squat. Yes it looks nice, but there is no functionality in it any more.

Can we have the old version back?

Hmmm...Judging by all the posts of disdain for the site's design and cramped quarters. Here's a sure way to boost subscribership...

All those that are subscribed, will get the option to have the old design back. j/K

I even whitelist neowins ads to support neowin, but that ad is WAY to intrusive, I mean flash ad in the MIDDLE of the page? come on.

Comments on main page, forum skin and width issues are the main concerns along with cramped news and not being able to see the news clearly. We understand the issues and they will all be addressed but for now just bare with us as we tweak it :)

The forum skin should come in days not months like last time ;)

    • Hello, Version 19 of ESET's consumer offerings are 64-bit only. The 32-bit installers are for Version 18, which were announced in this Neowin article. In addition to ESET NOD32 Antivirus, ESET Internet Security, ESET Smart Security Premium, and ESET Security Ultimate, both ESET Safe Server and ESET Small Business Security v19.1.14.0 have been released as well. • I can name 10x that on why not to switch.... It's funny outlook/office are going towards web app wrappers, and then MS is now preaching native apps again.... ugh can we just pick a lane and stay in it
    • Absolutely NOBODY has suggested such a conclusion. I am affirming the sober reality check that AV2's overall market adoption will take longer than AV1's adoption rate -- which, by the way, is the whole point of the article! While PCI-SIG is productive (on paper), other WGs have created all sorts of confusing progress plans that consumers have tuned-out of their improvements... HTML/W3C, USB, HDMI, BT, WIFI (ieee802.11) as a few other groups where spec naming conventions, split progress paths, overlapping ambitions... I'm not critiquing the AV specs group; I'm simply affirming that adoption for AV2 faces headwinds beyond the macroeconomics of it all.
